We had the best time in Rajasthan. WTX helped us pick the hotels that would be most suitable for us among the hundreds available in each location! The car was top class, a luxury ride and very, very clean. The driver was very helpful and professional. All the guides u arranged were very good. We didnt have hassel of arranging anything! Everything ran according to schedule. On one occasion, a wrong room was booked but they were so efficient to rectify the mistake with the hotel. All in all a completely stressfree trip!

I did a private Rajasthan forts and palaces tour with WTX, and it was a fantastic experience! The whole trip was well organized – driver, guides, tours, and hotels were all great. Special thanks to Ankit for his constant support during the journey.

We planned with the agency a 16 days of Rajastan and Varanasi tour. Envisaged luxury hotels by the agency: sometimes they weren't real 5 stars and with poor services (e.g. Castle Mandawa, Rivatas Ideal). Fortunately, 2 hotels have been changed on our request before starting the tour (Samode Haveli and Narendra Bhawan), where in fact we had a perfect staying. Reduce to max 2 nights for visiting Varanasi (fort and museum are abandoned and not worth visiting). Tour payment: being able to pay only by bank transfer or PayPal involves a 10% transaction and exchange fee. You should have a POS for paying the balance, as it is possible to do in India for hotels, restaurants and shops. Otherwise I would suggest to pay in euros or usd, agreeing before the exchange rate. Communications with local agency : In some cases, guides were not full aware of the day tour and what to see. On request, we had prompt reply from Prakash, unfortunately not always in all subject and advice (ie. guide tips, driver expense, ...) Excursions: in general ok, Funny and beautiful camel ride, avoid Dinner at Sam Sand Dunes (low quality and cleanliness, next day we had a stomach ache). Avoid Vishnoi village Safari: far from the city to see 3 simulations (trivial) of handicraft art. Local Guides: in general ok even if unfortunately they always proposed to visit the shops (dedicated to tourists) with which they had agreements and where the price quality was often doubtful (obviously shops where Indians never buy). Driver: Rakesh was an experienced driver even if he drove very slow (60/70km/h ok max times even on good roads where he could go at 80) and typing or talking to mobile without earphone. Besides he often stopped at restaurants where they charged tourists higher prices (in fact Indians never present as customers). He also asked if we wanted to go shopping in craft shops... In conclusion, the Rajasthan tour was good for the different beautiful landscapes (desert, lake, hill...) and for the historical monuments (Forts and Maraja houses). Unfortunately there is no respect for the tourist and in every circumstance he is circuited by the locals in order to get as much money as possible (from tourist shops, tuktuks,museums with prices increased by even 10 times for westerners ....). In any case the use of private driver and local guide was useful for visiting Rajastan, but you need to pay attention to any aspect related to money and tips. We also recommend to use Google Maps reviews for the best restaurants and Uber to book taxis or tuktuks to get around independently.

All went well with the Tour and we had an excellent, experienced driver and local guides met us efficiently at each destination. We saw some amazing places and the hotels were mostly very good. We had initially wanted a small group tour but this turned out to be an individual tour for us as a couple with our own driver. The itinerary was full and involved quite a lot of driving but we saw so much and everything went as planned. We saw incredible forts and palaces, temples etc and enjoyed the Tour very much and learnt a lot about India! Thank you.
