Great experience in an amazing part of Kyoto. The teachers were great. They provided a brief but informative history of Japanese calligraphy and were patient and instructive. Nice way to spend a brief part of your visit to Kyoto.

Great fun but you need to concentrate. Nice peaceful (? Haha) hour. The master was great and kind and his assistant cute and helpful too.

Enjoyable but I would prefer 90 minutes. Nice teaching but slightly rushed in 50 minutes which is common by many "courses"
Thank you very much for your feedback! Our class is designed for both children and adults. For children, 90 minutes can feel a bit long, so we aim to keep it engaging within 50 minutes. We appreciate your advice and will continue to improve so that even a 50-minute session can be fully enjoyable and satisfying.
The artists in the workshop were professional and very nice. The general atmosphere was special and we had the opportunity to meet interesting people

My daughter and I really enjoyed this experience. We really enjoying seeing how well we progressed by the end and loved being able to take our final calligraphy piece how with us as a holiday momento.

Great experience at the Japanese calligraphy class with my 17 year old. The instructors were very patient (it took me quite a few tries to get it!) and we learned a lot. It was a nice change of pace during a busy 2 weeks in Japan. Thanks!
