A tour with a lot of food, many interesting things, and very well explained

I had an informative and fun evening trying a wide range of Lao food. Toun was knowledgeable and caring and catered to everyone's needs. It was a fun way to spend an evening.

My third Chef’s Tour and all three have been incredible. I love learning about the local cuisine and our guide, Toun, was a wealth of knowledge. Luang Prabang is a small city, and I now have several incredible places to go back to eat at.

One of the best things I did in Luang Prabang. This was so much more than a food tour. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the dishes we were eating, but where the ingredients came from, how they were prepared, and the culture and everyday life surrounding food in Laos. His English was excellent and he took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all my questions. Over four hours we had around 15 different tastings in a wonderful variety of places and atmospheres, including little local spots I would never have discovered or had the confidence to order from on my own. It felt like being shown where people actually eat rather than simply being taken to places aimed at tourists. I also loved knowing that the tour was supporting small local businesses along the way. The amount and variety of food made it incredible value for money. My guide even helped me with questions I had about the rest of my travels in Laos, which was very generous of him. I'm so glad I booked this. I came away full, happy, and understanding considerably more about Lao food and culture than I did four hours earlier. Thoroughly recommend it.

This food tour was absolutely amazing! I expected the food to be good because I booked the Chef's Food Tour, but the variety and flavours were exceptional. Moni knows exactly where to go in the city to get the very best of Lao food. I highly recommend this tour and it's also great value for money. I couldn't even finish all the food, the portions are very generous! So come hungry and expect to be very satisfied at the end.

Toun was great. It ended up being a solo tour and we had a lot of great food and he was very knowledgeable.

Our guide MJ or otherwise Money was a very nice and helpful guy! We had enough time to taste all the different meals! Everything is on walking distance and for the last meal you go by TukTuk! Unfortunately it started raining during our tour, after we visited the local temple, however MJ arranged a TukTuk who brought us to all the different restaurants! Overall a very nice experience to enjoy the local food and hospitality of the Lao people!

It was a very nice experiance. The places we went to try food were local and the food itself was tasty. We enjoyed the visit at the temple and talk with the monk very much. Our guide was very friendly and told us a lot about the culture. We had a good time!

Our guide Toun was amazing. He was very informative, patient and made our tour very enjoyable. We had a great time with lots of unique and delicious food, and very generous servings. We highly recommend this tour and Toun in particular!

We had a great time with our guide „Money“. He explained a lot about Lao, the culture and the food. The time in the temple with the monk was interesting as well. The food was great and we enjoyed it. Thanks for this lovely evening!!!
