Two weeks in a minibus traversing Kerala and Tamil Nadu with my school mates all in our early sixties. What an experience! On the way stopping at serene palaces , beautiful tea plantations on the top of the Western Ghats, rainforests and the most magnificent temple in Madurai. We met many people who were so friendly and welcoming. Wearing handmade sarees on a house boat on the backwaters at Allepey was beautiful. If you love nature and bird spotting Munroe Island was a twitchers dream and such a tranquil place. We ate where the locals ate, which we all thoroughly enjoyed with no after effects. Thank you Krishna for looking after us so well and letting us taste the real India. I'm hungry for more!
