We spent 15 days on a private tour of Sri Lanka, booked through Lakpura. We had a good itinerary and were allocated an excellent driver, Roshan Doole, He would tweak the itinerary to suit us and was very knowledgeable. His skill as a driver was second to none. When he knew we were interested in Sri Lankan wildlife and birds, he ensured we had a very experienced guide to take us around our safari in Yala National Park. At the start of the holiday, we sorted out entrance fee costs to all the places on our itinerary so that we knew our budget. These had not been included in our holiday costings provided by Lakpura. We saw so many interesting things that it’s hard to single out specifics but we did see a leopard on our Yala safari. When we took a train journey, Roshan would ensure we were safely on the train before leaving the station and driving to our destination to meet us there.
