It was good to get a message from Julia in the morning, so we had a point of contact. It was a good fun group and I really felt we went to places that locals would go to And not tourists.

Julia was a very friendly tour guide. She’s a Bratislava local so she gave us history as we walked around the old town. We had honey wine, Slovak beer, Kofola (soviet era cola), local cheeses, dumplings, and cakes. If you’re looking for the best way to see Bratislava, this is the way to go!

A great food tour in the historical center of Bratislava’s old town. It included a mix of snacks, sweets, traditional Slovak dishes, and drinks. Our tour guide Julia was fantastic. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about the cuisine and its place in Slovak culture. Highly recommend this tour.

Had an awesome time with Nina! She was gracious enough to hold the tour even though I was the only one registered, and I couldn’t join the later tour. She even got me a fridge magnet — the story behind it is one we’ll both take to our graves 😂. The food was tasty and plentiful, and I learned so much about Slovak cuisine and culture. Our time with Nina was one of the best experiences of our stay in Bratislava, the tour is a beautiful look into the life of a local in Bratislava. Nina has personally curated the tour, choosing the best eateries in Bratislava who respect the traditions of local Slovak cookery. Nina's stories about growing up, and the passion her parents and grandparents have instilled in her is captivating. We had a wonderful time with Nina, she is a lovely person with bags of passion for her city, her country and her food! Oh... And the drinks were pretty awesome too! Don't hesitate to book this tour!

The tour was fantastic, but Nina really made it. She was so engaging and fun from start to finish. Great food, plenty of drinks and lots of laughs along the way. It felt more like being shown around by a local friend than being on a tour. One of the highlights of our weekend. Highly recommend it.
