When we decided to visit Sri Lanka we wanted to rely on a local guide and Nuwan had great reviews. Before arriving we had a little apprehension for having made the right choice, but as soon as we were welcomed at the airport we realized in a few moments that the choice had been perfect!! Nuwan: smiling face, a perfect Italian and his always spotless van named Rosi accompanied us on a tour to discover this wonderful island, full of contrasts, where lush nature prevails over everything. Along our way Nuwan’s explanations of history and religions have always been precise and comprehensive. He made us discover the goodness of local food often stopping on the street to savor authentic tastes as only a local can do. He was very attentive and considerate towards our 9-year-old daughter, the fact that he spoke good Italian was a salvation, managing to involve her even in moments that would have been a bit boring for her. During the Safari in Yala Park we discovered his vast knowledge of the names of the animals sighted and especially the birds that we admired also along our entire itinerary. We arrived hoping to find a competent and attentive guide... we leave here greeting a friend, hoping to meet again.
Grazie per aver aggiunto questo commento prezioso alla raccolta delle recensioni, anche se una cosa non è del tutto accurata: il mio italiano non è assolutamente perfetto. Tuttavia, amo davvero parlare italiano, sempre con un sorriso, soprattutto con le giovani generazioni che non sono ancora fluenti in inglese (o in singalese). Poiché la cucina italiana è di livello mondiale, è particolarmente gratificante leggere, nel commento di un ospite italiano e di un nuovo amico, che avete apprezzato la qualità del cibo dello Sri Lanka preparato fresco.
