市内ツアー + コミューン 13 メデジン

This was a fantastic way to experience so many different sides of Medellín in one day! Our first stop was Plaza Botero, which I found really interesting. I wasn’t very familiar with Fernando Botero or his distinctive style of sculpture before this tour, so I really enjoyed learning about the artist and seeing his work throughout the plaza. We had plenty of time to walk around, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and take some great pictures. From there, we headed to Pueblito Paisa, a charming little area designed to resemble a traditional Antioquian town. We grabbed some coffee and treats, explored the colorful colonial-style buildings, and enjoyed the atmosphere before continuing on. Next was the Medellín Metrocable, which was another highlight. The ride was a lot of fun and gave us some incredible views of Medellín as we traveled high above the city and into the hills. We got some fantastic pictures from up there! Then it was on to Comuna 13, where the real fun began. We learned about the neighborhood’s incredibly difficult history, including the violence, armed conflict, and loss experienced by the community, as well as the remarkable transformation that has taken place since then. Today, the area is filled with color, murals, music, dancing, and hip-hop culture. Everywhere you look there seems to be another artist painting, performing, dancing, or rapping. Our guide made the experience even more entertaining and even treated us to a rap of his own! We had such a great time walking through the neighborhood, seeing the artwork, listening to the music, and learning the stories behind what we were seeing. Overall, this was an excellent introduction to Medellín. You get art, history, beautiful city views, traditional Colombian culture, and the energy of Comuna 13 all in one tour. I would definitely recommend it!

Wish we had more time in Comuna 13, other than that it was a decent tour of the city. First couple of stops were meh, didn’t warrant 45 min per stop.

Excellent tour of the main interesting and touristic spots in Medellin. The best part is definitely la Cmuna 13, thanks to the involvement of local guides, such as Kevin, who belong to the Comuna.

In general, the tour was very complete. I feel that we spent too much time at the Pies Descalzos park that could have been used at the Pueblito Paisa. We had the bad luck that the bus's air conditioning broke, but otherwise the food was very good and the guide in Comuna 13 was very kind, as were her family and the artists.

This is a wonderful tour, very interesting and fun. Our guide Juan David Palacios was excellent. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This tour is a must if you want to visit iconic Medellin places around the city. Luisa was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
