The sunrise ticket was well worth it. We pre-purchased the ticket and as the sunrise was at 6:46 when we were there, our elevator time was between 6-6:30. No lines or wait when we visited in mid February. The view was amazing and otherworldly from the top as the buildings seemed to float in the morning mist until it faded away. We got some great photos. We didn't bother picking up a coffee as the cafe was too crowded on our way out. As you exit, there is an interesting exhibit that explains how the structure was built and there are gift shops as well.

Not much to see
Yes you beat the queues . But it was so foggy and the condensation on the glass you could see the sunrise let alone much else . Disappointing.
The actual pick up and drop off was smooth so recommend company for that .

Simple and nice, just get...
Simple and nice, just get the tickets from here and enjoy the sunrise view. There was a big queue for the coffee shop, expect some delay there.

The view from the Burj Khalifa was amazing. We where there already at 05:00 and at this time only a few people where in.

The sunshine experience

I would if we were picked up!
Our driver didn't arrive. We were up and ready at 4am. Made several calls and text messages. In the end the hotel rang Orient Tours but it was too later to get to the Burj. Have had several messages saying that the driver was waiting but he wasn't, we were waiting from 4am. Never using this service again and stay away from Orient Tours. Hoping to get a full refund but not holding my breath. Dreadful service.

Great views
You will have an early start, that's for sure. Enter the mall through the entry near Hurricanes. There should be security that will let you in. Short walk through the shops to the entrance. Need to pass through security. No food or drinks and certain items not allowed at all, you will be asked to go back outside and cloak your items if you try to take them through. There are displays that you can look at on your way through to the lift. The lift is quick with light show. You exit on level 124 which is outside on a balcony. Look for the east sign on the ground to get the sunrise direction. It quickly gets busy around sunrise so save a spot for best views. Can walk all the way around and also walk up the stairs to level 125. You get 360 views over Dubai. Photo opportunities, gift shop, cafe, toilets. Interactive walking path that shows the ground underneath and occasionally pretends to crack and shatter. As you are leaving you collect a drink (coffee, tea, small selection of soft drinks) and we were given a muffin. Make sure you have your photo taken in front of the sign that says you have visited the tallest building in the world. No time limit for you to leave.

Incredible experience, confusing to locate at this hour.
The experience was great! Highly recommend— it was beautiful to see the city from this time in the morning. I will say, we ubered, and at this time, it was a little complicated because the driver was confused and the exact directions on where to go were not very detailed. (We were not the only people to be confused). Many of the doors to the mall were not open, so to find exactly where to enter was confusing. Also it mentions “The Cafe,” however there are SEVERAL “The Cafe” locations. So that also added to the confusion. After getting out of the uber, we were directed by a number of different people to help us get to the door. Once in, however, the process was easy and we loved the experience!

Beautiful sunrise experience
The sunrise was beautiful and I was an overall good experience. It took us awhile to find it in the mall, so we were 15 minutes late for the 6:30am slot. Being late didn't affect our ticket. The early morning ticket was nice to avoid waiting in line, but then we had to wait until 10am for stores to open.
