This tour was great. Our guide Suzie was wonderful, lovely and very knowledgeable. The good was good. As well as the food we learnt a lot and got to see some well know sites

This was an incredible tour with an incredible guide! Suzie is fantastic! She was so fabulous and friendly. Suzie had such wonderful and insightful stories to share with us. We learnt a lot about Kuala Lumpur’s history and culture and how they’ve influenced its food. Every dish was delicious. The clams were a particular highlight, and the bamboo cake was a special sweet treat. Would highly recommend this tour! Go early in your trip so you can go visit your favoured spots again!

We did the secret food tour in Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended! Our guide Suzie was very friendly and sociable and told us a lot of beautiful and interesting stories. Fortunately, she had included some ‘air conditioning stops’ in the tour, which were very welcome. She called it a ‘food tasting’ but we were served a wide variety of local dishes in a dozen local restaurants. A lot of goodies eaten! Luckily we hadn't had breakfast, shared all the dishes, but by no means ate everything. Suzie was really very nice and really a very nice person. Thanks again for a wonderful and surprising day (about 5 hours, but never bored)

Amazing food tour! Everything we ate we loved. Suzie was amazing very insightful about not only the food but the culture and history for KL. We did this on a 16 hour layover we had and it was the highlight of our day. You will not regret it!

Excellent tour enjoying local foods

Directions were to meet at a car park and the guide would have an orange umbrella. 5 mins befute tour starts and 10 mins after we were trying to find them, the guide messages to say her umbrella is broken and she’s wearing a colour of dress and she’s outside a hotel. By this stage the tour had started and we were having to follow on. Joke! Contacted Viator for a refund and they refused. Joke tour, bad planning, minimum contact and no refund. Stay clear. Don’t book. Hardly our fault that they changed plans AFTER the meeting time!!!!!

The full meeting point listed is: Parking lot, Tempat Letak Kereta, 2, Jalan Balai Polis, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia We also note there: We’ll meet in front of the entrance to the Four Points Hotel Chinatown. In addition, a reconfirmation message was also sent ahead of the tour with the meeting details to help ensure guests could locate the starting point smoothly. While the orange umbrella was unavailable that morning, our guide proactively sent a photo of her visual identifier to help make the meeting go smoother. Our guides also make a point of watching for arriving guests in the meeting area and regularly check with anyone nearby if they are joining Secret Food Tours. Still, we’d love the opportunity to welcome you again on another Secret Food Tour in the future and provide the experience you’ve come to expect from us.
