While April is Sri Lankan New Year, the month of May holds deep significance for Buddhists across the country, for those wishing to witness interesting cultural events. For anyone considering this remarkable destination, two weeks should truly be the minimum. To fully appreciate Sri Lanka’s incredible diversity, three or more weeks would be ideal. Whitewater rafting brought thrilling excitement, while visiting the rescue dogs at Dogs of Ella sanctuary touched our hearts deeply. Our remarkably intuitive tour guide surprised us with this visit and we couldn't have been happier. Among our favorite destinations, the enchanting town of Ella. It completely captured our hearts with its misty mountain views, cool air, stylish restaurants, trendy bars, and magical atmosphere. It felt like a hidden paradise nestled in the hills. Kandy, by contrast, offered a bustling yet soulful city experience, with the serene beauty of Kandy Lake at it's center. My personal highlight in Kandy was visiting the sacred Tooth Relic Temple —an extraordinary spiritual and cultural landmark that left a lasting impression on me. This journey was so much more than a holiday—it was a deeply enriching bonding experience for my daughter and me, made extraordinary by the exceptional care, professionalism, and heartfelt service of Exotic Perla and Buddhika Herath. My partner booked this tour with Exotic Perla to celebrate my birthday and what an amazing tour ! Up at dawn to see the sunrise at Sigiriya; a hike up Little Adam’s Peak; time spent with elephants at the Millennium Elephant Foundation & Yala; snorkelling over coral at Trincomalee; a train ride through tea plantations to Ella; a trip through mangroves on the Madu River safari; visits to Dambulla Cave temple, the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the second capital Polonnaruwa, Koneswaram and Galle Fort; Cultural Show in Kandy; relaxation time on the east and south coasts (Pasikuda & Welligama) and so much more! Hotels & food were outstanding and our diver & guide delivered a superb service. Fully recommend this excellent company.

We wanted to travel to Sri Lanka and see a new world of great culture, scenery, food and landscapes. We needed an excellent tour company that would guide us. Upon reviewing all the offers we found Exotic Perla to be the most professional and most responsive. We struck lucky. We had Sachin who organised everything, giving helpful advice and recommendations. Sachin was 100% with speedy, accurate and helpful responses. Then we had our excellent tour guide, Buddhika. He is a superb tour guide, giving interesting information on everything that was worth seeing. He was flexible to do what we wanted to do. He would take us to places that we asked about or beaches that were not touristy. He knew people to contact when we asked to see turtles being released to the sea at night, or getting to ride and was an elephant, he knows everyone and you can ask for anything to be arranged. This is how Exotic Perla is so different from the other large tour companies. Buddhika introduced us to wonderful foods. He is also an excellent and safe driver. What we really liked about Exotic Pearla was that they were not a large corporate organisation where it would take ages to get answers or solutions. They can be totally bespoke according to your needs. We would thoroughly recommend using Exotic Perla - they couldn't have done more for us. We are planning our next holiday to Sri Lanka with Exotic Pearla next year to visit the East coast. 5 star tour company.

I had full days with excursions. Very nice hotels with exceptional buffet breakfast &dinners. Sometimes spicy. My guide was very attentive to my request. For 3 days , we searched Lactose Free milk.

I absolutely enjoyed the Sri Lanka Grant Discovery of 14 days organized by Exotic Perla. They did a wonderful job, and deliver what they promise. Our driver, Buddikha, was amazing; punctual, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Sri Lanka is a beautiful and very diverse country. This trip showed it all. I recommend Exotic Perla without any doubt to those who want to see the best this island has to offer, with the luxury of a private driver, excellent hotels, and every day surprises, and a variety of nature and culture.

Our nine-day tour of Sri Lanka was a real highlight! From day one we were warmly welcomed and were able to discover the beauty and diversity of the “pearl of the Indian Ocean”. The fortress of Galle was particularly impressive – a wonderful start. The Jeep Safari in Yala National Park was an exciting adventure, and in Ella we enjoyed breathtaking scenery and relaxing moments. The drive to Kandy took us through picturesque areas, and our guide introduced us to Sri Lankan culture, history and Buddhism in an exciting way. The rock fortress of Sigiriya and the temples of Dambulla were the crowning achievement of this impressive journey. Our German speaking guide was excellent – safe, competent and with great knowledge of flora, fauna and the life of the locals. Thanks to his air-conditioned vehicle and pleasant manner, the entire tour was interesting, relaxed and stress-free. The guide was always available on time and reliable and the airport transfer was flawlessly good! In summary, it was an all-round successful trip full of impressions, encounters and experiences – absolutely recommended for every Sri Lanka traveler! 🌴🇱🇰
