Ruben was amazing and very knowledgeable of everything we saw on the tour! Great time and really enjoyed it

We had a great time with our guide, Ruben. He picked us up at our hotel in time and we then drove to Cholula to see the Church on the pyramid and then we went to Puebla. Both places were awesome to visit. Ruben is very knowledgeable in Mexico’s rich cultural history and I don’t think we could have found a more informative guide. He is passionate about his job which made our tour even better. Puebla is such a beautiful place, with its awesome churches, wonderful people and architecture, we would like to visit again. When we return to Mexico City we will definitely book with Epic Journeys for our tours.

We were picked up from our hotel, driven to the Pyramids/Temples, offered Chris & ice cold water on route by our driver-Judy. Once we arrived at the site we were meet by our guide Christian, who was brilliant & very knowledgeable. Our tour was even adapted for us to include a lunch stop on our return journey to our hotel. We had a most excellent day out, I would recommend to anyone. Pats (our tour organiser) was very patient with me while booking, as I was having credit card issues. N.B. Any extras (like our lunch stop) will of course come at an extra cost. Also the guide may not be included in the total price as advertised, as the archaeological site has changed its rules in April 2026. The experience was memorable. Diego picked us up at our hotel. He is cordial, considerate, and a very good driver. Certainly, his knowledge of Teotihuacan is very extensive.

Our tour guide was fantastic. He has been a guide for 15 years and was able to share so many details. He found the perfect picture spots too. I recommend this tour.

Great day. Excellent guide, on time driver, magnificent site, gorgeous weather & and extremely responsive tour company.

I first visited Teotihuacan 21 years ago and was excited to return. Years ago, I was on a larger tour that included tourist shopping stops, and although the experience at the archeological site was good, I felt like it was a bit rushed and I didn’t have as much time there as I wanted. I also felt like I didn’t not have a great understanding of the site. So, this time, I chose to book a private tour with a certified guide. Christian was an excellent guide, offered detailed information throughout the archeological site, and easily answered all of my questions. I had 3 hours to explore the site and I saw much more than I first did all those years ago. My guide was friendly, considerate, and very knowledgeable. If you have the time and the means, I highly recommend booking this private tour. I should add that it was also very convenient that my driver picked me up and dropped me off at my door, especially given the early departure time I had chosen. My driver was helpful and pleasant and the car was clean and comfortable.
