What an excellent time!! Roka was exactly what we needed to show us Venice and Padua. Patient with my mobility issues always had plans B and C ! I can highly recommend him as the perfect guide to see an amazing city

Benedetta met us at our hotel for a four-hour private walking tour of Venice. As a local (born and bred) Benedetta displayed a great deal of knowledge of the history and culture of Venice. We ambled around going where we wanted and seeing more besides. We’d opted for this tour on Day 1 of our trip, primarily to source inside knowledge of the sights to visit, how to avoid the queues and the best locations to eat/drink and take a ‘romantic’ Gondola ride. That evening we ate at a fantastic seafood restaurant (Al Colombo) in the quiet back-streets close to Rialto Bridge. The following day, we took Benedetta’s advice and headed to the quieter Jewish Quarter (Cannaregio) after a lovely Gondola ride in San Toma area. This tour was an excellent way to see the city at an easy pace and gain an insider’s knowledge of the city and its sights. Thoroughly recommended!

Roberto was great. Very experienced guide who really knew his subject matter, especially the history and culture of the city he had grown up and lived most of his life in. I spent two weeks in Italy and did daily tours and this was by far my best experience. Roberto provided a personal element to the experience that was unique.

We booked a private tour via City Unscripted.it was worth every penny. Our guide,Benedetta tailored our tour perfectly, based on our answers to the questionnaire the company sent us at the time of booking. Benedetta was on time, friendly and spoke excellent English. She was able to answer all our myriad questions about the city and its history. She was a fount of knowledge and made the experience all the more enjoyable. We always book private tours in cities we have not visited before as you get a much more intimate view of the place and although it is generally a more expensive option, you get your money’s worth.

Never did a tour like this and didn’t know what to expect but was really happy we booked with Roberto. If I could have I would have traversed Venice with Roberto our whole time here. He was informative but it was clear he loves Venice and wants you to see it through a local Venetian eyes. Thank you for the additional advice on where to go off the beaten path.

Amazing tour. Victoria was such a great guide, she showed us all the highlights of Venice in our time with her. It was fantastic to see and take it all in. She was so friendly it felt as if you were exploring Venice with a relative. Victoria was also quite accommodating , our train got delayed and she was very considerate in shifting our scheduled tour time and waited on us to arrive. Very polite and friendly, also felt quite comfortable with her during the tour. Will definitely recommend if you would like to have a great experience!
