Shan took me to the most beautiful places along the route from Kandy to Sigiriya — stunning temples, elephants on the road, and a breathtaking, remote fairytale-like lake. We also did two hikes, including the Pidurangala Rock and another one for a gorgeous sunset. I really appreciated how Shan planned everything so that there were hardly any other tourists around. I also have quite a fear of heights, but Shan was very patient. Besides visiting beautiful places, it was also great fun spending time with Shan, and we had some really nice conversations.
