Brenna was very knowledgeable and really put a lot of enthusiasm in her tour, you could clearly picture the scenes!
Thank you for the lovely review! Brenna has a wonderful way of bringing Savannah’s darker stories to life, and we’re glad her knowledge and enthusiasm made the scenes so vivid. Thanks for spending part of your night with us on Spirits & Scoundrels!
Brennan was a great guide and kept it fun and interesting at each stop! Good mix of history and some spooky and creepy elements.
Thank you for joining us on Spirits & Scoundrels! We’re glad you enjoyed the mix of Savannah’s history and creepy stories, and that your guide kept each stop fun and interesting. We appreciate the kind words and hope to see you again for more spooky adventures!
Brenna (I hope I’m spelling that right) was lovely and fun. The tour is a great length and isn't overwhelmed or underwhelmed with stories. This is the one to take in Savannah!
Thank you for the wonderful recommendation! You spelled Brenna’s name perfectly, and we’re so glad you enjoyed exploring Savannah’s darker side with her. It’s great to hear the length and mix of stories felt just right. We appreciate you choosing Spirits and Scoundrels for your spooky night out!
Not wanted I signed up. Thought it would be more haunting and horror stories than history telling.
I’m sorry the tour didn’t match what you expected. Spirits & Scoundrels explores Savannah’s hauntings through the real history and people behind the stories. I understand you were hoping for the kind of scares you might find in a Halloween haunted house, and I’m sorry we weren’t the experience you had in mind.
Nick was great! Been doing ghost walks for years & got to hear some news stories!
Thank you for joining us! It means a lot to hear that, after years of ghost walks, you still discovered some stories you hadn’t heard before. We’re glad Nick made your night in Savannah a great one!
We really enjoyed the Spirits & Scoundrels Tour with Brenna! The stories were interesting, entertaining, and a fun way to learn about some of Savannah’s more colorful history. Brenna was engaging and did a great job keeping the group interested throughout the tour. The walking portion was easy and comfortable, and we felt completely safe walking around Savannah at that time of night. My only suggestion would be to update the website with the nearest cross streets for the meeting location at Lafayette Square. For visitors who aren’t familiar with Savannah, that little bit of extra information would make finding the starting point easier. Overall, a fun and enjoyable evening and a great way to experience Savannah after dark!
Thank you for joining Brenna on Spirits & Scoundrels! We’re glad you enjoyed the stories, felt comfortable on the walk, and had a fun evening exploring Savannah after dark. We’ll share your kind words with Brenna. We also appreciate your suggestion about the meeting point. Viator and Tripadvisor are third-party booking platforms that send their own confirmations, so we can’t change their map or confirmation details. Our website has directions to Lafayette Square, and guests who book directly with us receive full directions in their confirmation. Thank you again for the thoughtful review!
Candler was awesome!! Tour was great and the stories/pics were genuinely creepy. Would recommend to anyone visiting Savannah.
Thank you! We’re so glad you enjoyed Spirits and Scoundrels. Candler will love hearing this, and we’re especially happy the stories and photos gave you a few genuine chills. Thanks for recommending us to Savannah visitors!
Cancelled due to storms and it was a beautiful night. Not really anything else to say and this review requires a minimum number of characters
We’re glad the weather ultimately turned out nice. Unfortunately, that was not what the radar was showing when we had to make the decision. At the time of cancellation, the forecast and radar showed a strong downpour moving over Savannah during the scheduled tour time. Because our tours are outdoors, we eventually have to make a call based on the information available to us, with the safety of our guests and guides in mind. Savannah weather can change very quickly, and sometimes the storm moves, weakens, or disappears altogether. Had we ignored the radar, continued with the tour, and everyone ended up standing in a heavy downpour, we suspect we would have been criticized for that decision instead. It is, unfortunately, one of those situations where we can be wrong either way. We would rather occasionally cancel a tour that later could have operated than knowingly send guests and guides out when the weather information available to us suggests conditions may be unsafe. We understand the disappointment, but a one-star review because the weather changed after a safety decision was made seems to overlook the reason that decision had to be made in the first place.
Candler the guide, was great. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and engaging. The duration of the event was about 1:45 minutes and the walking wasn’t too far. Doing this at night really set the tone and in Savannah, so good!
Thank you for joining us! We’re so glad you enjoyed exploring Savannah after dark with Candler. He has a wonderful way of bringing the city’s history and hauntings to life, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. We hope to welcome you back for another tour!
Candler was great! Appreciate the history mixed in with some spooky stories.
Thank you for joining us! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the mix of Savannah history and spooky stories. Candler will be delighted to hear your kind words. We hope to haunt with you again!
