Thoroughly enjoyed our Secret Food Tour in Tokyo! Our guide Yumi was extremely knowledgeable and made the entire experience so much fun. The abundant food and restaurants she selected for our tour (including sushi, gyoza, yakitori, donuts to name only some) were outstanding and really highlighted the history of food in Japan. We also learned about and experienced the amazing Ameyoko area which we likely would not have found in our own. We cannot recommend this tour and Yumi enough!

Great experience
Our guide Yukina met us as expected. She took us to many wonderful places. She easily accommodated my eating preferences while my husband was able to experience a variety of food. She was knowledgeable about the Japanese culture and food! I highly recommend this food tour BUT go hungry!! There is a lot of food!

Exceptional Food & Cultural Experience with Yumi
Yumi provided an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Her warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail gave us a genuine window into authentic Japanese culture and cuisine, making the tour feel both personal and beautifully curated.
One of my favorite moments was her brief chopstick tutorial, which was so clear and encouraging that I was able to use them confidently afterward.
The entire experience was seamless, engaging, and memorable. Yumi struck the perfect balance between being informative and personable, and she made us feel very well cared for throughout. Truly a wonderful guide and a highlight of our time in Japan.

Wonderful food tour in Tokyo
We really loved our Secret Food Tour in Tokyo, it gave us so much information to build on. We always do our tours early in our trip so that we can return to the places that we are shown and use the local information that we are given. Our guide Natsumi was great, full of information about the food, traditions, where to visit and best places to go. Her help was invaluable on our trip to Tokyo. Would definitely recommend this tour for any group, but especially if you are pretty new to Tokyo and love food!!

Great Tour Guide

Secret Food Tour with Natsumi
Fantastic few hours and highly recommend this food tour. Natsumi was outstanding guide and you’ll not regret spending time enjoying incredible Japanese food (all explained in cultural context) as she expertly guides you through a memorable experience. I learnt so much from Natsumi on this guide.

Fun family friendly food tour
This was a really nice family friendly food tour. My family of four including two kids under 10 had a blast. Out tour guide Yukina guided us through different Tokyo cuisines and we hit many of the local favorite foods in one trip. Definitely recommend as a great half day trip for family with kids. No too much walking.
