Lily – my personal Thank You for the lovely reception that we received upon our late arrival in Guilin at 11.00 pm and arranging for our rooms to be cooled before reaching our accommodations at the Sheraton Hotel. This gesture was thoughtful, considerate and most welcomed. I wish to express my appreciation that she ensured that the minutest details were also taken care of, resulting in our visit in Guilin to be lovely, pleasant, most enjoyable and memorable. I especially want to thank Lily for supporting me, and speaking on my behalf to the authorities as there was a perceived recorded error of the expiry date that conflicted with my new passport. Her professionalism, her ‘common sense’ approach to the said misunderstanding, her calm demeanour, her quiet perseverance in explanations to the authorities diffusing the situation, gave me the comfort of knowing that the matter would be resolved amicably. Her composure in handling the problem not only assured me, but that calmness exuded itself to me and at no moment did I feel alone, abandoned nor anxious. I was totally confident in her ability to settle the issue. Further, I wish to acknowledge and compliment Lily for recommending and arranging the ‘Impression' show by Sanjie Liu. The show was definitely a show stopper and, in my humble opinion, should be one the visits that Guilin has to offer. Lily is a total credit to the travel agency - Travel China Guide, her professionalism is of the highest quality, setting a high bar for integrity and competency!

I want to thank the guide Ms Lee for guiding us in Guiling and Yangshuo and share with us the story and culture of the local people. It was really a great experience and there were a lot of beautiful scenarios that we gladly discovered.

My family and I recently completed a 10-day small group tour with Travel China Guide, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From the very start, communication was smooth, with all our questions answered promptly. The tour was well organized, and the bus provided was always roomy and clean. The itinerary was packed with sights, giving great value for those wanting to see as much as possible, though we felt a few stops could have been skipped for more relaxed mornings or earlier finishes. Now, onto the standout tour guide! Samantha was an absolute joy. She was warm, personable, and made everyone feel at ease throughout our time in Guilin. Her friendly nature created a relaxed atmosphere, and she was always ready to chat and share stories about local life. Samantha was flexible and ensured that all aspects of the itinerary were well executed.

From start to finish, this was an excellent tour. Emily, who helped coordinate all of our plans was extremely helpful and responsive to our many questions. One we arrived all of our guides, Candy, Celine, Rachel and Susan were very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend to anyone considering a trip to this beautiful country to engage the services of Travel China Guide.

I just spent twelve terrific days in China [Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, and Shanghai]. Wow! Inasmuch as I never had traveled outside of the US, I was adamant about joining a tour. My trip to China was far and away the best trip I have taken. The beauty, history and overall excellence of the country and what it had to offer was made very accessible by our friendly and knowledgeable guides. All the guides were very fluent in English. In Beijing, Kitty, our tour guide, showed us the sights of the city. She was excellent at her job! He was friendly and fun as well as knowledgeable about the forbidden city, the summer place, the great wall and much more. He assisted us shopping and doing things freely which we loved, but we also still had time to do everything listed, including going to an art studio and seeing several temples and palaces She even helped with a minor snafu with my passport and entry into a couple locations, and was an overly excellent problem solver. She made my first entry into China easy and enjoyable. I will definitely book another tour with Kitty! Xi’an Xi’an was a gem of a city. One I hadn’t heard of, thought I had heard of the world famous terracotta warriors, it’s city steeped in historical lore and facts. Our guide, Lizy, The city wall, the muslin quarter. Terracotta clay studio. Crown Place, excellent 5 star. This was amazing ! Although very crowded, people do move through at a steady pace and eventually you can see everything you want to see. The scale is unimaginable until you see it for yourself in person. The detail on these warriors - all of them individuals is fascinating. Understanding the excavation and repair processes that have taken place for us to be able to view these warriors is amazing. A must see in China. Guilin Located in a warmer part of China than the other cities, Guilin offered great landscape, weather and cuisine. Out guide Monica introduced us to the crystal cave, Li river, etc which were great. The cuisine in Guilin was my favorite, with it reminding me of flavors I’ve tasted of Thailand and Vietnam. Shanghai The two days I spent in this city were not enough. Our guide Mary showed us the sights, and provided insight into the historical landmarks, museums, and the silk factory. A must visit for souvenirs. Mary was very resourceful and helped navigate and troubleshoot. Shanghai was a monsters of City that did not feel so large because of how well organized it is. This is a fantastic tour and absolutely filled to the brim of all the main sights of China - but make sure you are physically fit and can cope with long walks, internal flights and different temperatures and humidity between the cities.

Mary was our group guide in Shanghai and was one of the most wonderful guides. she is wonderful to be around, had great knowledge of the area and allowed our group to break away for the normal tour with permission of course. I also stayed in Shanghai an additional week and Mary allowed me to ask questions and got tickets to the acrobats for me. Five star for this guide. Thanks

Review of: 11-Day Small-Group China Tour: Beijing - Xi'an - Guilin - Yangshuo - Shanghai My wife and I had the pleasure of seeing Beijing on our 11 Day China Tour. We started on 20th May 2019. Sophie Lee had really good knowledge of China History and was well prepared on a daily basis. I enjoyed her taking us to a great authentic Restaurant with real Chinese cuisine to make you really feel the experience. She was patient with us and was always making sure we enjoyed our time. We loved it how she gave us free time but also made sure no one gets lost - I appreciate her guide and I am sure anyone that will have her next will feel the same. Thank You! I traveled to China last march-april and spend some days at Shanghai. It was a great experience. Love Shanghai and the places we visited there. The hotel was excellent. Our travel guide was Ocean. He is very friendly, servicial, organized. I recommend travel china guide and their best guide Ocean!! Thanks a lot for a great experience!
