Perfect introduction to Helsinki. Elodie was an excellent guide. She shared history of Finland and Helsinki and also what modern day life is like. She also showed us the highlights of the city plus a few extras like the underground tunnels and the stunning train station. Highly recommend the tour. It will truly enhance your experience in Helsinki.

We were extremely lucky...
We were extremely lucky to get Eldolie as our tour guide. Not only did she take us to all the highlights of things that you would want to see and Helsinki she took us into two libraries and into the tunnels Underground. She also spent a lot of time answering our questions as we were walking from site to site which was very interesting and gave us a real taste of what it is like to live in Helsinki.

Friendly, knowledgeable guide with open attitude toward visitor’s questions
Jens engaged the visitors’ interest, created a tour route that provided us with a broad scope of architecture, related the history of Finland with well constructed explanations, answered questions adeptly and demonstrated enthusiasm and broad knowledge. Moreover, he made good suggestions for continued exploration of the city’s museums , cultural sites and foot markets.

Excellent tour
We were planning to visit the city ourselves but then decide to take this tour and was the best decision. Our tour was great coordinated. The tour guide Jens was amazing, really friendly and professional. He provided a lot of info and accommodates bathroom breaks during the tour. Also he speaks multiple languages and even took photos for us.

Great tour on Finnish history and culture
We had a great tour with Jens. He took the time to give us a short introduction on Finnish history and constantly expanded on it at various stops of our tour. Along the way he also taught us a lot about Finnish culture and Helsinki's surprisingly modern architecture.
I found the Finnish library culture especially fascinating and our visit to the Oodi Library is a definite highlight for me. Oodi is not just a traditional library, but also offers other services like computers, 3d-printers, sewing machines, band or meeting rooms to residents. Even without a tour it is definitely worth visiting. (don't take pictures of people) As we had our tour on a sunday, lots of people were visiting the library and we really got the see the living culture of libraries.
On Jens' recommendation we also visited the National Library the following day, which is a much more traditional library and definitely worth a short visit for the architecture.

Great Day in Helsinki
Great experience. Victoria was an awesome guide. I learned so much of the history of Finland and she made it so interesting. The 3 hours were packed with interesting sites.

Good overview tour.
The tour hit most of the city’s highlights. It was a good orientation on what to see on our own. Walking paths taken will be challenging for older and/or disabled individuals.
