Our journey to Ghana and Togo exceeded all expectations and was truly unforgettable. From the very first day, the level of professionalism, knowledge, and personal care was exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed, allowing us to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the experience. The guiding throughout the trip was outstanding — insightful, engaging, and deeply respectful of the local cultures. We were introduced not only to the rich history of West Africa, but also to its living heritage: ancient traditions, powerful rituals, and customs that have been passed down from generation to generation. Each visit felt meaningful and authentic, far beyond a typical tourist experience. What made this journey truly special was the human connection. We met inspiring people, were welcomed warmly into communities, and experienced a level of openness and generosity that touched us deeply. Ghana: A Cultural Journey from Accra, Kumasi and Cape Coast was, by far, the most emotional and exhilarating experience we've had in all the years we have traveled. The Ashanti African Tours Company, led by Senior Tour Guide, Foster Frimpong, began as we were warmly welcomed "home" by him. Foster immersed us in his rich culture and heritage, OUR heritage, through comprehensive storytelling of historical truths and ancestral lived experiences.
