Evening with Reza.great guide and wonderful variety of food. From the night markets with its many food choices to the great tastes of Indonesia and other cultures , even 2 smoked meat choices. We were delighted. Our 2nd tour with Reza (last time was lunch tour) thoroughly enjoyed it . Dandy joined us as taxi driver a wonderful friendly man also and we had lots of fun together

It’s a bit of a faff to get to Denpasar from Kuta but it was well worth the Grab. Budi took us to a lot - ands I mean a LOT! - of food places. These are the sorts of spots I’ve walked past countless times but not known exactly what they are, how to order or even how best to eat the food (clue: mix the sambal into the rice). The highlight was the night market, so my recommendation would be to hit an evening tour if you can. Full of locals, it’s a high energy, high calorie journey through the world of local cuisine. Most importantly, it also included several dessert options! Budi also gave us some background information on the history and culture of the area and answered our questions with knowledge and good humour. The ride back to our hotel was spent in satisfied quiet contemplation and an argument over what was the best bite. I’m pretty sure I won that 😊

This was a great experience. Lots of really interesting dishes and delicious food that we would otherwise not have tried. I would recommend going in the morning or evening when the market is open. We went in early afternoon and most of the market was closed.

We got to try many local places and different foods with our tour guide Rezza. The smoked duck was my favourite. So great to experience the real flavours, eating in places with just the locals away from the tourist areas. Oh, and plenty of food so definitely come hungry! Thanks Rezza for the experience.

Great experience! The tour guide was fun to be around and made us feel real comfortable. We came hungry, but ate so much that we got full quickly. It’s a great way to experience the city and culture. We were able to taste a variety of dishes, fruits, and snacks.

Very local experience. You are not in a tourist area during the food tour, so you will a real taste of local flavor and surroundings.

Reza was an excellent guide and host! Following a work conference, I was ready to experience the 'real' Bali. Our tour started at the largest markets in Bali, and then we threaded our way through the surrounding laneways. Reza shared the special dishes that only a local would know and that a true food lover would enjoy. We enjoyed local fruit and sweets, followed by a divine chicken curry soup. We then tasted three variations of satay, all of which were delicious, and enjoyed them even more with tea at most stops. I really appreciated not seeing another tourist during our three-hour tour, and Reza going out of his way to find a pharmacy to help me find the proper medication. At the end of the tour, he also helped me find a cab. I felt like I was spending time with a trusted local friend. We were at the heart and soul of Bali, among the locals. I highly recommend Reza for an authentic taste of Bali street food.

We had a fab time with our guide Putu Merta on the food tasting tour. There is a LOT of food, we'd seen the advice to not have breakfast, but maybe don't eat the night before as well! There was a great variety of dishes to try from across Indonesia, and we enjoyed eating at local spots that we wouldn't have tried on our own. Putu took us for great sweet options at the end of the trip and a lovely coffee stop.
