Our tour guide, Bert, was excellent. His knowledge of China Town was very detailed and he had a great sense of humour. He made us feel welcome and allowed for some dietary restrictions. He is very much a storyteller and we highly recommend taking this food tour.

The Chinatown food tour with Bert was three hours of delicious food interspersed with history and fun facts. Bert has lived in NYC for 30 years. He is friendly and knowledgeable and obviously loves sharing his favorite spots with others. Bert conducts the tour at a leisurely pace, yet we covered quite a bit of territory. I would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was excellent. I've done tours all around the world, more than 60 countries, and this really has to be one of my favorites. I'm local to the area and woke up and decided that I wanted to experience Chinatown like a tourist and booked this on a whim. Bert's expertise is so impressive. He knows so much about not just New York history of all kinds, but Chinese food and culture facts, Thai, Malay, and so much more. Every odd question I asked him about New York City or the food we were trying, he was able to answer. He has a great, upbeat personality and was just extremely prepared and thorough. A true 10 out of 10.

Did this tour today with Bert. We do food tours in every city we visit, if we can, and this one is class! Bert was fabulous - a true professional , the organisation was fantastic, and the food was delicious. No feedback at all on what can be improved as it was pretty perfect. Dietary restrictions were catered to efficiently also. (Just a note for international visitors that I had scrabbles to bring cash for a gratuity but a venmo link is available at the end for more convenience).

An excellent tour guide that made the whole tour really enjoying , and the food was amazing and definitely do not not need lunch afterwards !

I did the Taste the Chinatown tour with Bert and it was fantastic! He brought us to some fantastic restaurants while giving us a thorough history of Chinatown. The food was delicious and plentiful! I was impressed and full by the end of it. Highly recommend you book this tour with Bert

My husband and I love all things history, culture, and food. Finding a tour that combines these three things is always a bonus! This tour had a good mix of sit down meals and on-the-go snacks. Bert was knowledgeable and friendly. Not only did he engage with every member, he successfully had us engaging with others on the tour. This gave meals a "family" feel. We enjoyed ourselves so much we immediately checked availability for some of his other tours!

The four of us ( my husband, son and daughter-in-law) had a terrific tour despite the constant rain. The food was, varied and ,as night be expected, delicious. Every stop seemed special and the rain did not interfere much since three of our samplings were indoors in some iconic places. But what really made the day was our guide, Bert. He was knowledgeable about the Chinatown, the food we were eating and had plenty of additional suggestions. Our group was on the larger size but he did such a good job was bringing us together that after ten minutes you didn’t notice that. All that, and funny to boot.
