Planning a trip to East Africa initially felt overwhelming, but everything changed once I connected with Aron at Safari 2 Gorilla Tours. From our very first interaction, he made the entire process feel effortless. Aron was incredibly responsive—no question was too small, and every personalized request, from itinerary tweaks (we did a 4 day adventure in Mgahinga) to adding new destinations, was met not only with enthusiasm but with thoughtful suggestions that truly elevated our experience. Flying into Rwanda turned out to be an unexpected highlight. We were able to immerse ourselves in the country’s rich and complex history, take in its stunning landscapes and mountain views, and ease into the rhythm of the region before beginning our trekking adventure in Uganda. Once in Uganda, Aron seamlessly handed us off to his colleague Danny—and we absolutely adored him. Danny took exceptional care of us every step of the way. His knowledge was astounding—over the course of several days and countless questions, we only managed to stump him once! This trip was not only well-priced but delivered incredible value. This company is amazing! I interacted with Aron and I think he might be the kindest man I’ve ever met. Aron took us Gorilla Trekking which was the highlight of our trip. Don’t leave Uganda without gorilla trekking!! It was an incredible experience. I was a foot away from a baby gorilla at one point and could have watched the animals for hours! Aron also gave us some great recommendations of places to visit. We also went on a safari in Queen Elizabeth National park and saw every animal in The Lion King and then some. Tip: go super early in the morning or late at night to see the lion, that’s when they’re out hunting. Seeing African elephants was such a peaceful experience. You can tell he really loves his country and wants to share it with the world. He is so knowledgeable about the area and knows the best spots to stop for pictures as well. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other places. He works with you to build an itinerary that’s right for your budget and timeframe. This tour group went out of their way to make sure my husband and I were comfortable through the whole journey and I really can’t praise them enough!!

Once in a life time experience! Aron helped me plan and prepare the Safari very well. Martin was a fine driver and Francois a great ranger! After more than two hours of walking we came to ‘our’ gorilla family. Indescribably impressive and moving to be so close to them. An absolute must that you will never forget.

Horrible experience for the prize. Had to report it to the police to come up with a reasonable solution. Keep in mind what you book will be change and u will only see one gorilla tracking

Asked for a last minute safari one my way. I chose the good one tour operator ! A wonderful day in Mgahinga National Park with gorillas, in this so magical area of Uganda.

I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the tour was expertly organized and executed. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the gorillas, which made the trek even more meaningful. We hiked through beautiful landscapes and encountered the gorillas in their natural habitat. The experience of being so close to these majestic creatures was inspiring and left a lasting impression on me. The accommodation provided by Gorila 2 Safari was also excellent. The lodges were comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure that all our needs were met.

I was very satisfied with the Gorilla Trekking Experience. It was a true once in a lifetime experience. With Safari 2 Gorilla Tours Ltd I especially liked the fast and reliable communication with Aron who usually answers the same day when you ask questions via WhatsApp or Email. The money for the Gorilla-Trekking could easily be paid via MTN money transfer, however also bank transfer or cash payment would have been possible. Aron picked me up from my hotel at Lake Bunyonyi and drove me all the way to Mgahinga National Park. In the National Park they have their own guides. So Aron and his colleagues waited for me outside until the Trekking was over and then drove me back to Lake Bunyonyi.

Aron is very professional, the tour went perfectly. He was always very attentive to my needs, flexible and, without a doubt, very kind. I totally recommend it.
