Hiro is very friendly and full of energy. We had a great day with Hiro and learned many history about Nara.

Haru was an excellent guide and highly recommend him. He guided our family including three kids with the youngest who is 6. We saw the most important sites in Nara. Our kids adore the deer that were in the wild everywhere and very friendly. Haru took appropriate breaks as there was a lot of walking (almost 14k total steps).

Had an amazing day today with Kazu. He took us on a great tour through Nara. We were able to hit all the major sites. The tour was very leisurely and he taught us so much about Nara, Buddhism and shitoism. My son felt like the tour was more a conversation instead of a lecture and was very engaged. Kazu is on my list to recommend to friends for when they visit Nara

Haru was the best tour guide we had in Japan, and we went on many tours. He was knowledgeable and thoughtful with boundless energy. When the deer became aggressive in Nara, he was very protective of our family, especially of the little three year old. We will never forget that. His kindness made him one of the major highlights of our Japan trip. Can’t recommend him highly enough! 

Junichi-San was an absolute pleasure! He went above and beyond to accommodate my wife’s and myself needs / wants for the day. Was extremely easy to communicate and revise our itinerary as needed. Junichi-San was full of information and gave an excellent history lessons throughout the tour. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Junichi! PS: Include the sake stop!

We had a wonderful experience in Nara. Our guide Shuji was excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and full of energy. He kept all of us in our group of 8, (with 4 teenagers) very engaged. Visiting the park, being amongst the deer and learning from Shuji was an incredible experience. Highly recommend this tour.

Our group of 8 (2 families with 4 teenagers) booked the Nara tour during our trip to Japan. It was a great way to see the Nara highlights and learn about the history and culture. Our guide, Shuji, ensured we had a great time and answered all our questions. He provided cultural insights and story telling to make the history come alive. He met us at the Kyoto station and helped navigate a challenging train situation on the way to Nara. He accommodated the preferences of our group and even provided recommendations beyond Nara. Would definitely recommend this tour. Watch out for the Nara deer… they are rather aggressive but it was fun feeding them.

We enjoyed our private tour to Nara with our group of 8 (2 families with 4 teenagers). Our guide, Shuji, was engaging and accommodating. Shuji is the best! Once we booked this tour, he reached out immediately to make sure that we had a customized tour of what we wanted to see and do in Nara. The level of details in his emails was incredible! Not only did Shuji plan a great tour but he also went above and beyond by explaining the Japan rail system, the public transportation cards (Suica, Pasmo, etc.) and even told us exactly what trains, times and gates to exit so that our meetup was seamless. Been on a lot of tours around the world and have never had this level of communication. Once we started our tour, Shuji was articulate, knowledgeable and so much fun! Nara is amazing and Shuji made it so much better - please request him!

Hiro was an amazing guide and took us all through Nara. I had a 5 year old in tow and she was so patient with him. He absolutely loved her and was holding her hand as we walked. She was knowledgeable and even my 5 year old was listening to what information she was providing.
