Amazing day-we learned so much, had some great food and covered a ton of ground. Five stars!!
Fantastic tour. Tshepo was the best guide with a lot of good information and good stops for photos. The stops for tours at Mandela House, Appartheid Museum and Constitution Hill were wonderful. It was an incredibly moving day. I highly recommend for the history and political impact. So sad that what happened 50 years ago in Soweto happened 13 years ago in Kiev, Ukraine (Maidan uprising), and keeps happening around the world. Why do we never learn? Thank god the history is preserved in places like these and that there are tours like today’s.
This tour was excellent. I had a great day. My guide Tshepo, was fantastic. His knowledge of Johannesburg and its history was first class. I did the hop on hop off bus the day before and there were lots of places I wanted to see but we did not have time that day. This tour took me to all the places I wanted to go to so I was very pleased with that. I recommended the tour to another guy at dinner that night and he did the tour the following day. He loved it too. I would recommend it as a great way to get a feel for Johannesburg as a city and its history. Thanks again. I loved it.
