The two stops before Salzburg were wonderful and Salzburg was beautiful. The Cathedral and Christmas markets are a must see. The guides were friendly and made our experience one to remember!
Fantastic day in Salzburg with an incredible guide who knew a lot about the city and made the day incredible.
We drove to Salzburg via Hastatt and then to Salzburg. We then travelled to private tour the whole afternoon.
Took a tour from Vienna. The drive was awesome. Salsburg is a beautiful town. This is where the ever green movie Sound of Music was made. Lots of things to see - Castle, Church etc. There is a Sound of Music show, I believe, twice a day. I am told it is good, but if you wish to see this, you have to either say overnight or have to have your own transport.
<p>Peter was a helpful, patient and kind guide/driver. We are happy that we were able to make the journey to Salzburg, Melk, and Hallstatt. Very pleasant and enjoyable.</p>
<p>Our trip from Vienna to Salzburg and back with driver Peter was fabulous! Can't say enough good things about our experience. Our family of 3 enjoyed the day with Peter while he narrated much about Austria, its history and the sights we drove by. Our local guide in Salzburg was also very good.</p>
<p>We were picked up on time. It was a long day, stopping at Halstatt, then to Salzburg. Wish we had more time at Salburg than the 2 hours as there were more to see.</p>
<p>This was a great day trip from Vienna with very knowledgeable guides and beautiful sights.</p>
