Tour guide was not as knowledgeable about facts though shared some good information. He and driver were friendly though not trustworthy. Primarily, he took us to a store that sells stone artifacts and put on a “show” that they make it themselves and cheated us to buy at higher prices than at the govt controlled bazaars. We were told later that if they sell in USD verus Egyptian pounds, they’re racking commissions for everyone. So watch out. Lunch was good but we were told to pay for drinks. Looking at the credit card, they charged for the meal that is supposed to be included. Probably cheating Viator. The tour was going to get cut short till I showed what was included in the package on my phone. Guide made a phone call and agreed to take us on to all the promised locations. I would have rated this higher except for the constant feeling that I may be cheated out of money for something I don’t want. FYI: most small statues, shirts and gifts shouldn’t cost more than $1-$3 depending on size. Go to govt controlled sites and you CAN still bargain down. The sites were great and amazing. Expect heat with the sun. Tolerable. Watch for the frills and people begging for tips…. Ignore them all.

Personalized, Fun-filled Experience of Luxor!
My husband and I booked this tour for our first visit to Luxor. We had a wonderful experience with our guide and designated driver. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, fun and really made the day unforgettable. We spent approximately 8 hours together, so plan for a day full of walking! Bring some extra water, a hat and comfortable/breathable clothes, and shoes. With the help of our guide, we always beat the large tour bus crowds and had a personalized experience. We can’t recommend this tour more!

Excellent from Start to Finish!
Absolutely first rate! Our guide, Khaled Elsmaky, was knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful, and spoke perfect English. He quickly identified our interests and focused on them throughout. The car was a comfortable, late model SUV, and our driver was excellent and clearly knew his way around. An unforgettable experience.

Luxor tour
We had a great personalised tour with Khaled. The pick up and all the transport was seamless. Khaled injected a tremendous amount of knowledge into our tours of the temples and tombs, meaning we got far more out of it than if we had done it ourselves.

What an Amazing and Incredible Day! Got to see the coolest tombs in the Valley of the Kings including King Tuts actual mummy! Got to See the baddest coolest Queen Hatshepsuts temple.
