タクシムまたはスルタンアフメット地区のホテルから早めにピックアップした後、イスタンブールの人混みを離れ、ガリポリ半島に向けて出発します。マルマラの海に沿って約 5 時間、田園地帯の景色を楽しみながらドライブし、途中で軽食をとります。

We really enjoyed the day. All logistics went smoothly and we got to see and learn so much. Our Guide Burak (pictured below) taught us alot and was very entertaining and funny. This helped to balance the heavy history being discussed. Bonus - I got to watch the Lions beat Freo in the GF on my phone on the drive down. What a day!

We really enjoyed our tour from Istanbul to Gelibolu with Crowded House tours. Our guide, Çağir (or Charlie) was excellent. A great source of information with strong knowledge of the terrain, the battles and all the stories. A stop in Eceabat for lunch was friendly. Visiting the site was moving, as it should be. It's hard to believe somewhere so peaceful and beautiful was once so terrible. The only troublesome part of the day was getting through Istanbul's infamous traffic on the way home - if the operators can work out a way to overcome this the tour would be perfect.
Long day on a bus but the experience well worth it. Rubbing shoulders with fellow Aussies and Kiwis paying their respects to the ANZACs…. Amazing. Our guide Hasan was very passionate about his knowledge of Gallipoli

This Crowded House tour to Gallipoli is well worth the money. Whilst the return trip from Istanbul is a very long day, the transport is very comfortable with stops half way down and back for food and refreshments as well as a lovely lunch before the start of the tour. The tour of Gallipoli is amazing and vists all key locations with amazing commentary and insights at each location as well as ample time to look around and take photos. Our guide on the day, Hasan was amazing - he has been doing Gallipoli tours for 18 years and is extremely knowledgable and passionate in telling the stories from all perspectives - Australian, New Zealand and Turkish. I would highly recommend any Australians or New Zealanders visiting Istanbul to allocate a full day to doing this tour and take the opportunity to understand the ANZAC story and p[ay respects to those who made their sacrifice in this campaign.
As a New Zealander, I felt we had a duty to visit Gallipoli as it is an integral part of our history. Crowded House tours made every part of the tour run smoothly and our guide Bariş was knowledge and engaging.
We had a surreal tour with Burak, who was very knowledgeable. I came with 6 of my friends from New Zealand and we learnt more about Gallipoli, in half a day than we did in school. Transfer from Istanbul was smooth and seamless.
An exemplary operator and tour. Spoke to Ramazan expressing an interest in the Gallipoli tour but needing to go onto Selcuk afterwards as opposed to returning to Istanbul. He immediately said that was possible, where were we going, what help did we need etc. A few emails later it was all arranged. 3 months later they did exactly as promised, the tour lead by Borak was fabulous and they then took us to Canakkale with the other tour participants. At midnight we were collected and escorted to the bus station where the bus manager was advised that we might need help with the language when our bus arrived. The whole experience was managed professionally and with our peace of mind considered. Amazing. Use Crowded House...they won't disappoint
I knew it would be something special to go to Gallipoli as an Australian growing up on the stories about the battle (but not knowing the detail) Our guide ‘Burak’ was an absolute fountain of knowledge about the war and which forces went where. The time spent in Gallipoli (around 3.30 hours) was perfect. We went to places (around 7) of real significance for Kiwis and Aussies. Even though other forces were a part of the contingent attacking the coast. I can’t fault the people and the experience of the day. Just expect a long day and be patient as they do drive around Istanbul to pick people up. We had a stop in the middle of the trip going there and back, which helps.
