We had a wonderful experience on our full day tour of Monet's gardens and Van Gogh's last residence. The gardens are amazing to see and it's quite the experience to be in the place where Monet created some of his most famous works. The Van Gogh house is a quite different but also a memorable experience to be in the place where he spent his last days. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. We recommend this tour for those who are interested in the lives of these artists and appreciate getting out of Paris to view the surrounding areas.

Frankie is highly knowledgeable with both places toured. He goes out of his way to make the day very special.

The trip is well described with the exception of the Auvers Sur Oise. This was more than visiting Vincent and Theo’s place of burial. We went to several places in town where Vincent had painted. We also visited the apartment that Vincent stayed in the village of AuversSur Oise which is part of a small museum. It was a wonderful day which started with visiting Monet’s home and garden in Giverny. We visited the site of Monet’s burial site. Our guides were informative, punctual, friendly, and courteous. I want to thank them for a great day and a great suggestion for dinner.

Will is an amazing guide. When I met him at the pick up location, he informed me that I’d be the only guest that day. I grateful the tour company prioritizes customer experience. For that reason alone, I would book again with this company. The drive from Paris to Giverny was lovely - a combination of highways and local roads. We wended through old villages to reach destination. At Giverny, we started at Monet’s family tomb. Will told interesting stories about the Monet family. The gardens (even after the blazing heat of this summer) were gorgeous. I could feel that creative energy that sparked Monet. I had plenty of time to see the whole property and village. Auvers-sur-Oise, Van Gogh’s last residence had a different vibe and still an amazing experience. We walked around the small village, saw toured Van Gogh’s last residence, and saw Vincent and Theo’ tombs. Starting and ending at the artists’ tombs seemed like a complete story. The tour is complex and approachable, fixed and flexible, fun and a little sad. It’s well worth your time to take this adventure.

As an art history lover, this tour was an absolute dream. Valeria was cheery, funny, knowledgeable, and extremely kind to us. We had an incredible time and the convenience of being driven around in a small van was much nicer than having to worry about managing the transport to each location ourselves. Valeria gave us rich lessons in the history of each artist and each location, and also recommended the best snacks to try in each place. It was a dream come true, couldn’t have been better. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Iconic, must see sites for those who love Monet and Van Gogh. Terrific tour by Frankie whose commentary was informative and thought provoking. Lovely ride under very welcomed air conditioning on a hot hot day in France! Thanks Frankie. We’ll be back!

Our guide was great. He was professional, provided interesting information, and accommodated both those who wanted to walk around the sights in Auvers-sur-Oise and those who had issues and could not walk that far.

This tour was so interesting especially with our guide Marteen. He was very knowledgeable not only on Monet and Van Gogh lives but on the art also. He truly made this tour extremely fun .

Excellent tour and guide (Serena)! This experience takes you to 2 places in one day - (1) Giverny - Monet's house and gardens and (2) Auvers-sur-Oise - van Gogh's residence for the last 70 days of his life and burial site. Although both are within an hour of Paris, it would be very difficult (most likely impossible) to visit both by public transportation in one day. With respect to Giverny, the guide (Serena) did an excellent job of preparing us for the visit with lots of information while in transit. She also made sure that we were among the first in line to visit the always-crowded lily ponds. With respect to Auvers-sur-Oise, we visited the room in which he died, his burial site, and various locations in the town which appear in some of 74 works he painted while living there. The guide had copies of the works so we were able to compare the actual location with his vision. Highly recommended.

This is a must do experience for those interested in the lives of Monet and Van Gogh. Our tour guide was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. Strongly recommend this tour.
