This was an enjoyable day trip. It was about a 3-hour drive each way. We had 4 hours of free time at Essouira which was enough to see the main sites. It was a great way to get away from the noise and hustle of Marrakesh for a day. Thank you to our guide Omar.

A disappointing trip. Sat 6 hours on the bus and was given 4 hours of free time there. I would not recommend this to anyone

Super day trip to breathtaking old citadel walled city, driven well by Ashal. Traditional wooden sea going fishing vessels in an nteresting authentic shipbuilding yard and vibrant fishing fleet. Sardines and other fish being landed and sold on the harbour side. Truely freshly grilled fish Avaible to eat at the harbour, very colourful and delicious. A trip to remember. Shopping in the Souks a more relaxed , less expensive and pleasant experience than in Marrakech. Camels to ride on the beach but further from the town centre.

Essaouira was not as pretty as I expected. The fish market was very dirty and memorable by the smell! The beach was littered with plastic bottles and rubbish. The trip is good value for distance travelled and prior communication was good. Our guide was friendly but not very informative and only answered questions when asked. I would not recommend as not much there, for the time it takes out of your holiday to get there.
