We booked a full 3-day car hire for the two of us, with a custom itinerary that included transfers between Chiang Mai, Chiang Dao and Chiang Rai. Since our hotels were spread across different areas, including some more remote mountain locations around Doi Chiang, having a professional driver made perfect sense. Our driver was incredibly friendly, punctual, and drove very skillfully, especially on the winding mountain roads. The custom itinerary gave us the flexibility to visit many places we wanted, including WTF Coffee, Pongyang Jungle Coaster & Zipline, Akha Farmville, Singha Park Chiang Rai, and even harder-to-reach spots like Mae Mao Reservoir. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth it for us. It would have been difficult, if not impossible, to cover all these places using Grab, and driving ourselves on some of the remote and winding mountain roads would not have been ideal. Having a skilled local driver made the whole trip much easier, safer, and more enjoyable.

We booked a private van with Arin for two days. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Arin was not just a driver, he was an excellent guide and helped optimize our time in Chiang Mai. He is very knowledgeable about the area and about Thai culture, so we benefited greatly from his expertise. We organized a private tour to visit the elephant park, the Long-Neck women's village, and a few temples. Everything was perfect; I highly recommend it for every aspect: friendliness, punctuality, and a pleasant manner.

Today my friend and I did a tour to Chiang Rai with Arrin, we were departing from Chiang Mai. Originally we planned to see a few temples in Chiang Rai, between them, the White Temple and the Blue Temple. The guide of Arrin was very good through all the visits to the temples, he also suggested few awesome places to visit, eat and take pictures. Arrin was profesional and friendly from the very beginning, he drove us in a very comfortable SUV that made the whole trip feel much better. Arrin was very detail oriented and considerate, we felt every experience and visit of the trip as something very positive, touching and every surprise and suggestion he did was a good addition to the trip. (And he takes very good pictures) The day couldn’t got any better for us, definitely recommending it to everyone, the tour to Chiang Rai to see the temples and asking for Arrin as the guide, you won’t regret it.

We had an amazing day with our private Driver Arin in Chiang Mai. From the moment we booked, communication was excellent right through to our pickup on the day, making the whole experience completely stress-free. Our itinerary included Kingkong Zip Line and the Sticky Waterfalls, and our guide even surprised us with an extra stop at the dam, which was a fantastic addition to the day. His English was excellent, and he shared plenty of interesting information about the local area, culture, and attractions while happily answering all of our questions. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome throughout the tour. The driving was very safe and adapted well to the road conditions, which made us feel comfortable the entire journey. The vehicle itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning that was much appreciated in the Chiang Mai heat. This was an ok experience. To start, the driver wanted to pick us up at 9 instead of 8am. This was quickly resolved through WhatsApp messaging. Anan could not speak much English at all and this made our communication a little challenging. Other than that, things went smoothly for our family. For the experience that we had, we think we overpaid for the service.
