Booked directly with them. Had several issues. Our flights was canceled so we arrived a day later to Kathmandu. No refund on day 1 transfer - maybe understandable. Next day I had booked the UNESCO tour. Great driver - tour guide unfortunately very disappointing. Not a licensed tour guide, no historical information and we zig zagged all over town because he had no plan and didn't get to all of them. - Also, a good company will include the entry fees to the scheduled sites. We were shocked to have to pay them every time since a UNESCO tour should include entry fees and the tour guide gets them. We also did the morning flight over the Himalayas - all was great there. We booked through them a 3 night Bhutan trip. They hired a wonderful company - greenbhutantours.com . That company was amazing. I was disappointed that Vyas told us the tour would end at noon but instead we were back at 9AM which meant we had a 5 hour layover (I booked the next flight according to their info). Not a great domestic terminal to hang out in. They said they could get us an earlier flight to Chitwan but I had already checked and the earlier flights were full. * Also, they could have bought us assigned flight seats ($5 extra) to sit on the side of the plane that looks out to the Himalayas but no, they wait to buy them so that none are available. HINT - if you travel to Bhutan from KTM take seat A going - seat F going back. The driver was great and punctual but the frustrations with the tour guide for 2 days, the flight issue and seats and lack of accurate agenda left me with a very negative experience.
It was a good tour, the tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful and a really great guy. The sites were amazing and I was even able to have lunch with my tour guide. The unfortunate part was that the tour company said they cancelled my tour while I was on the tour because a tour for one person wasn't worth it. Well, it was not and still is not cancelled on Viator. So they harassed me during the tour about paying them at the end. I said it was paid for and not cancelled. I even contacted Viator who also said it was not cancelled. Since, the tour guide has twice come to my hotel looking for me and demanding I pay, and joined me on my private dinner tonight demanding that I pay. The tour operator talked to me and demanded I prove that I have paid on Viator. I would definitely not recommend this tour company and I have never had an experience like this with Viator. Choose a different company for your piece of mind and peace of travels.

The guide and the driver had been very good. The guide. Had a wide knowledge and the driver navigate us safely through the crazy traffic.

We arrived late in Kathmandu as a result of Dubai airport flooding chaos but Dipson was still there as promised to pick us up and drop us at the hotel. Firstly he helped rearrange our Helicopter trip to Everest st no extra charge. Then the day tour round the sights and sounds of this fascinating city with its temples was superb. Dipsons obvious love and knowledge of his home cities historical treasures being presnted at just the right level for us to easily understand and really enjoy We cant thank him enough for helping to turn a disastrous start to our holiday into a fabulous time. We arrived late in Karthmandu less baggage following the chaos in Dubai flowing the floods , but Dipson still picked us up at the Airport as promised and dropped us at our hotel . He then helped us rearrange our Everest helicopter tour at no extra cost, before taking us on a full day tour of the magnificent temples and sites of Kathmandu, giving us a comprehensive history of this fascinating city. This was my absolute favorite tour during my time in Kathmandu! My guide, Hemant, was amazing and a wealth of knowledge!!! I was expecting transport only to each of these places but he accompanied meat each stop and gave me the full history of everything! I also appreciated the offers for the extra stops to learn about the mandala paintings as well as the vibrational sound therapy. I found the Hindu temple/crematorium a bit disturbing but also fortunate to learn about another aspect of Hindu culture. It was my last full day in Kathmandu and I can't think of a better way to have spent it 🙂 It was so interesting, informative and enjoyable! Thank you!!!

I visited the city of Kathmandu and spent the entire week I was there with my friend, this tour was more than just a tourist tour, it was first and foremost an encounter with a guy who didn't know me, opened the doors of his home to me, gave me an experience you can't buy, and became my friend. It was a great pleasure to be shown around by Dipson, who was born and raised in the center of Kathmandu. It immediately feels like a good friend who both makes time and gives a little of himself and his own background. We saw all the highlights and Dipson's knowledge was great. I have only given this tour 3 stars because of my tour guide Sonica who was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour overall was unprofessionally conducted. We were supposed to meet at our hotel at 10 am but we only actually started at 11. I had to call 3 different people to understand what the problem is and no one offered genuine support, each person would simply give another person’s number. No explanations or apologies made. My guide showed up at 10:40 alone and we then had to wait for the driver and after a number of calls and conversations we were finally able to meet him close to the hotel. While I enjoyed my conversations with Soni and was able to understand the Nepalese culture so much better, I felt a bit uncomfortable in some parts of the conversation where she would discuss politically incorrect/ personal topics. I would not recommend this tour.

This day tour of some of the top places in Kathmandu was well worth it. Our guide Pawan was pleasant and informative and allowed us the right amount of time at each site visited. I was very happy also to be able to witness a cremation along a river at the Hindu Temple -something i had not seen before. Would recommend this tour very much.
