My experience with Meyrehm was absolutely 15 stars out of 10 she created an itinerary specifically for me and my needs. He became instant friends as soon as we met and I couldn’t have imagine spending the day with anyone but her solo travel is fun but meeting someone like Miriam and seeing Istanbul was way more than I thought I would ever experience. We had originally booked the tour because we wanted a guide for the grand bazaar. It was a Sunday and Sibel informed us it was closed on Sundays. She assured us we could do the bazaar alone and her skills are best used around town. She was so right. She was incredibly informative, kind, and patient. You don’t know what you don’t know. She ended the tour with an amazing rooftop bar with a stunning view. Your only regret will be it didn’t last longer.

Our guide made our day in Istanbul's Old Town unforgettable! Sibel was warm, knowledgeable, and brought the history of Sultanahmet to life, from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque to the hidden corners we'd never have found on our own. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Turkey, and we'd recommend her to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Our guide, Sibel Akdogan, in Istanbul was truly exceptional—deeply knowledgeable, empathetic, and wonderfully attentive from start to finish. We didn’t just ‘see’ the city; we understood its culture, religion, cuisine, and art through clear, patient storytelling that made everything feel vivid and personal. This is the kind of tour you’ll remember long after you leave. Would give her 8 stars if we could!

Sibel Akdogan was an amazing guide. She was interested in what I wanted. She is very knowledgeable about Instanbul and the Mosques we toured. I enjoyed my time with her immensely. When I go back I want Sibel to take me on tours. She has a heart for being a guide.

Sibel was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We spent 2 full days with her with pickup from our hotel visiting Mosques, aqueducts, a carpet experience, history, and local dining experiences. One day with a limo and driver and one day with Sibel . We had full days with no wasted time parking or waiting on lines. She had access to most entry points and was prepared with appropriate coverage for sacred areas - just in case.

We had this tour arranged for us through our hotel and I cannot recommend Sibel enough! She was wonderful! She was so knowledgeable and warm with all my children. She was flexible when we needed to rest and was able to recommend an excellent rug shop for us to visit when we specifically asked her. 10/10!
