Trekked up to Fansipan this morning with Chu Weather not great,but a very memorable hike Collected on time and off we went on the adventure Tough climb, but well guided and accommodated by Chu Middle third was the most challenging But then we stopped for a break and Chu cooked up a very hearty meal with some dragon fruit and coffee and we were good to go again Final third went a lot quicker with Chu sharing his knowledge and experience Brilliant experience and well worth it with a great guide

Moderate to strenuous tour (approx. 2000 meters in altitude) up and down the Fansipan. There is the option to take the cable car down from the summit, which would make the fitness level more moderate. The tour leads through the Hoang Lien National Park with varied terrain. Sometimes there are steps, stones, ladders, or light scree to climb. Unfortunately, fog dominated the Fansipan during our tour, which is why we could only admire the beautiful views on the way down. Choose appropriate clothing for the tour and it is better to have more rather than too little weatherproof clothing with you. Chu and his brother guided us pleasantly and showed or explained things to us every now and then. There are several small break opportunities and a lunch at a mountain station. Full recommendation for hiking enthusiasts or outdoor lovers.

Had an amazing 1-day trek up Fansipan with Chu! He was friendly, patient and took great care of us throughout the hike. The food he prepared was also so good, definitely not what I expected on a mountain trek! Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a guide for Fansipan. Thank you for making the experience so memorable!

I had a great trek with Chu. We were also lucky enough to have amazing weather. Chu also made us lunch & a coffee at the half way point. You will need to bring your jumper/ jacket & maybe a rainproof jacket when you get to the summit (as temperature changes). Also advise for others it does require a bit of fitness as there is a lot of steps (climbing altitude). The experience was very fulfilling & rewarding & I recommend. Thanks Chu for the day!

Chu is a truly amazing guide! We had a very nice (but also very demanding hike). He and his wife took exquisite care of us and always made sure that we’re fine. For those who didn’t want to hike down, there was an option to take a cable car (additional fee).

Chu was a wonderful tour guide! He told me different stories throughout the hike. He was also patient and waiting whenever I needed rest. He prepared water and banana for the hike also and took great photos without asking him to. The lunch he made was really good, egg pho! It tasted really great. Would recommend booking chu!

Great experience really well organised, the guide set the pace and didn’t leave anybody behind if they were struggling.

Chu was a great tour guide during my 1 day hike to Fansipan Mountain with some hikers. He’s attentive, and shows great knowledge of the flora within the lush forests. He even brought good snacks and fruits, and prepared a nice lunch for us. Overall, I had an amazing experience climbing the highest mountain in Vietnam with Chu as our local guide. Highly recommended to everyone! Will definitely come back again.
