Great tour . Fabian was very friendly and knowledgeable. The walk up the dunes was so much fun . And the view up top was incredible. Plus the glass of wine once we reached the top was a nice touch 🙏🏻

Helene, our tour guide, was amazing--she knew the area so well and it was a joy to have her lead us to the Pyla Dune and the Arcachon Bay seaside. Lunch was a delight of fois gras and oysters/wine. Can't recommend this tour enough!

I would strongly recommend this tour to visit the Bay of Arcachon and the dunes of Pyla! The sand dunes were amazing, and while at the top of the dunes, Vinka surprised us offering a nice glass of Wine, it was perfect! We had local oysters in a lovely little restaurant by the port (Port de Larros) Our guide Vinka was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the region and about wine and an excellent driver! I would definitely recommend taking this tour!!

Nice to have a guide to drive you around, have a glass of wine on the dunes, and a truly beautiful sea to table lunch. We’d recommend adding some extra dishes on top of the lunch included to get a taste of everything but lovely lunch as well.

A beautiful trip to a wonderful place. Well done to Vicky, our friendly and professional guide who accompanied us throughout the day. The Dunes are a unique experience to climb barefoot. The next little town is beautiful, and the oysters are truly top-notch!

I actually did three tours with À La Franćaise, two of which were led by Melanie Lamaire. Melanie was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. (And I have been to almost half the countries and all the continents on the planet.) Her extremely positive personality was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the sites visited and went above and beyond to make the tours very pleasant and exciting. I would highly recommend using À La Française for your visit to Bordeaux as they have many tours that give you a great flavor for the culture and sites of the area. I would recommend tours with Melanie without hesitation. Profitez-en!

We really enjoyed our trip to the dune and Arcachon. The dune was a bit of work, but it offered a beautiful, unique view and we had fun relaxing with wine at the top. The oysters were the most fresh I have ever had in my life!! We did, unfortunately, spend more time than we would've liked in the car- due to the distance and traffic. Ibo was good rumored, knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed this, but make note- traffic can be tough!

Well, what a nice break from the lovely wine tours. A perfect day of strolling and a bit of challenging climb to the top of the dunes for an endless view of the French coast of Arcachon. The Playa dunes were much larger than I had imagined. The walk up the dunes was made easier by the stairs. Then we had a lunch of the freshest, and sweetest oysters, virtually right off the boats. Fabian was a very considerate and knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed the entire day

Couldn't recommend this trip more! Mel was such a fun guide and her English was exceptional. The views from the top of the sand dune were worth the hike and the little shops had great souvenirs. I wish we had time to walk through downtown arcachon a bit more, but we got a drive through tour, which covered a lot more ground. The lunch at the end was so delicious as we watched our ousters get shucked almost right in front of us! Highly recommend this one.

Climbing the Dune du Pilat was an unreal experience — absolutely breathtaking and unlike anything else. The views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and endless pine forest on the other made it unforgettable. Very cool! Unfortunately, the rainy weather cut our visit to Arcachon short, so we weren’t able to walk around and explore the town. It looked charming from what we saw, and I’d definitely love to come back in better weather
