Should be banned/ horses are unwell, visible injuries
please do not take these rides, it is very sad to see the horses who look so ill. it has bene reported to the local animal rights organisations. just google horses on Kamala beach and do your own research. if you love horses you would not want to see them suffer the way we did. probably the worse part of our visit to Kamala beach and hopefully it will be banned soon.

A calm hour riding along Kamala Beach
I wanted a quieter activity in Phuket, and this one-hour horse ride was a pleasant change from boats and busy attractions. The duration felt right for a first-time rider because it was long enough to enjoy the beach setting without becoming tiring. I liked the simple pace and the chance to focus on the surroundings. The ride may feel a little short for someone with a lot of riding experience, but for beginners or couples it works well. It added a relaxed memory to the trip without taking up most of the day.

A calm ride along the beach at sunset
I don't ride horses often, so I appreciated the gentle pace. Walking beside the sea while the sun started to go down was very relaxing. It ended sooner than I hoped, but I enjoyed every minute.

A relaxing ride along the beach
This was my first time riding a horse, and it was easier than I expected. The horses were calm, and the staff stayed nearby to help when needed. Walking along Kamala Beach at sunset made the experience even more special.

A peaceful ride along the beach
The horses were calm and easy to ride, even for beginners. Riding beside the beach during the quieter hours felt really relaxing. I only wish the ride had lasted a little longer.

Loved it!
I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The riding centre was just a short 10-minute walk from the Princess Kamala beachfront hotel, which made it really convenient. After about five minutes of arriving, my horse came back from a previous ride and was carefully washed down to cool off before we set off.
The ride itself was absolutely magical. I spent about an hour riding along the beach and back, and it was incredibly relaxing the whole way through. My guide was fantastic—he gave me the confidence to ride independently while always staying close enough to help when needed.
What really stood out was how much effort he put into capturing the experience. He stopped at several scenic spots and took plenty of photos and videos, both on his camera and on my phone. He made sure to get a variety of shots, including some beautiful moments on the beach and even in the water.
If you love horses, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this experience. It was truly special, and I would absolutely do it again.
