If you have a full day for a tour out of Yerevan, make it this one! The best thing about it was our your guide “Nectar” who was full of energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge and made this a fantastic day! The tour took 10 hours but the time was managed well. We had a clean Mercedes-Benz “Sprinter” van which was comfortable and well stocked with water - and the AC worked great. All the stops were fun, but note that both monasteries involved steep climbs and the cave entrance was accessed by a 100 step staircase, so if you have limited mobility, choose a different tour. Our driver was safe and efficient, but the best thing about the day was our tour guide Nectar. Expect beautiful views of Mount Ararat, a wonderful lunch next to a small lake, fun and delicious wine tasting, and a visit to an active archeological site! Amazing day!

This trip was great and each place was not too long where you stand around waiting. I was particularly thankful with the booking process as I could not make it the day I had booked bc of issues with my ride. The company offered to allow me to take the tour the next day which was great. Everything was streamlined and prompt. Lunch spot was also better than expected with traditional Armenian food, salad, and coffee/tea.

The tour was very interesting. The guide Anastasia was nice and knowledgeable, and the driver Edgar drove excellently. We visited Khor Virap with the wonderful view of Mount Ararat, then we moved on to visit the Areni cave, and finally the Noravank church. At the end of the tour, we listened to the secrets of Armenian wine and also tasted it. Recommended tour for the beauty and peace of the places visited.
