I went solo and I had the best lunch of my life near the pyramids. Youssef recommended a place with grilled pigeon. It was delicious. The GEM museum was fantastic but the pigeon stole the show. The free hotel night gave me time to digest. Yasser asked about the food and smiled. The experience was culinary and cultural. Admission fee was 85 usd. Length of visit was 8 hours. Atmosphere was flavorful and earthy. Crowd size was local. Staff were friendly and Youssef knew the menu. Best for solo travelers who love street food.
