Tivemos um dia maravilhoso e inesquecível no Rio de Janeiro! Meilin nos guiou pela cidade com muito entusiasmo, conhecimento e bom humor. O passeio foi perfeitamente organizado e vimos muita coisa: o Corcovado com a imponente estátua do Cristo Redentor, o Jardim Botânico, a famosa Escadaria Selarón, Santa Teresa, a Lapa e a Catedral Metropolitana. Apreciamos especialmente o fato de Meilin não apenas nos mostrar os pontos turísticos mais famosos, mas também compartilhar muitas histórias interessantes e informações sobre o Rio. Ela foi atenciosa, gentil e paciente o tempo todo, atendendo a todos os nossos desejos. Meilin fala inglês fluentemente, então conseguimos nos comunicar facilmente, mesmo sem falar português. Nos sentimos muito à vontade e bem cuidados durante todo o dia. Graças a ela, pudemos vivenciar o Rio de uma forma verdadeiramente especial e pessoal. Meilin guided us through the city with genuine warmth, extensive knowledge, and a cheerful spirit. The day tour was perfectly organized, and we saw an incredible amount: Corcovado with the impressive Christ the Redeemer statue, the Botanical Garden, the famous Selarón Steps, Santa Teresa, Lapa, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We especially appreciated that Meilin didn't just show us the famous sights but also shared many interesting stories and background details about Rio. She was attentive, warm, and patient throughout, and she tailored the experience entirely to our wishes. Meilin speaks excellent English, so we were able to have great conversations despite not speaking Portuguese ourselves. We felt completely at ease and well looked after all day long. Thanks to her, we were able to experience Rio in a truly special and personal way. Thank you so much for a fantastic day and so many wonderful memories! We would gladly take this tour again and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others🥰

We had a wonderful private guided tour of Rio de Janeiro with Meilin Mares Guia, starting right after our cruise arrival. Meilin met us exactly as planned, making the transition from the ship seamless and stress-free. She is extremely knowledgeable and took us to all the hidden gems and sights throughout the city, in addition to the iconic sights everyone sees in Rio like the Christ, Sugarloaf Mountain and of course Copacabana Beach. The tour was flexible and well organized, allowing us to explore at our own pace while learning about Rio’s history, culture, and daily life. We requested a lunch stop on the beach and he brought us to a locally owned restaurant where we enjoyed authentic Brazilian cuisine Everything ran smoothly, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day. I highly recommend booking a private tour with Meilin, especially if you want a deeper, more authentic experience with a native of the city.

We had an incredible day with Meilin. She made us a personalised tour, was very warm and spoke perfect English. We got to experience many sides of Rio in a relatively short time.

Meilan was fantastic. A wonderful lady you was born and raised in Rio. Very knowledgeable about the city and the country. She knew how avoid crowds and where to go to get the best views. She knew someone at the most of entrances of the site to get us through quickly. I highly recommend spending your time seeing the city with her.

Not reliable- chose another operator. We did not get to go on this tour despite having a confirmed private tour (our only day in Rio)- as the operator did not show up! When our hotel concierge reached out to them after waiting for 45 min, they advised they were not even in the country!! We were left scrambling and finally joined a group tour, but this was more expensive and we did not get to see the sites we had hoped to- very disappointing. If you have limited time, do not trust this operator.

Taking this tour was one of the best decisions we made! Meilin is a wonderful guide - she tailored the tour to what we were interested in; she loves Rio passionately and she is very knowledgeable about the history and secrets of the city. Our day started with the carnival experience- this was suggested by Meilin - and it was such fun! Dressing up in the costumes, dancing a little, sipping caipirinhas! We then visited the Portuguese reading room, confiteria Colombo, selaron steps( highly recommended). We also visited the botanical gardens- we loved this bit, and the Santa Teresa neighbourhood. Meilin gave us useful tips on where to eat, what to buy, and took some really good pics of us too.

Yesterday ( 26/01) we took the tour with Meilin to get to know the main tourist sights of Rio. It was exceptional! She is super patient, attentive and passionate about what she does, leaving us super comfortable and happy for this moment. Everaldo and Silvia (Goiânia)

We got your contact for a cousin who lives in Sao Pablo! We wrote to him, and super quick his reply, he looked for us at the agreed time, we did exactly what he told us he was going to do, very nice person! And adapts to any situation, in our case my wife is pregnant! Super cheerful! Let's see the best of Rio. Full command of Spanish and English. Thanks for the ride! In love with river we're leaving.
