What I loved was the slow immersion into Mekong village life, sampan rides, watching locals go about their day, and sitting under shade while listening to live Don Ca Tai Tu, a type of traditional music. The gentle music, river sounds, and casual encounters with smiling residents created a warm, human portrait of the delta, a soothing, intimate escape from the city.
