Fabulous experience with Kosuke. He explained lots about Japanese history story, culture and food. The food we had was excellent. Would totally recommend.

Read the fine print…
Keep in mind you’re paying for dinner at one restaurant. After that you have to pay for eating at the other two places. Not very expensive but paying close to $200 for one restaurant is a bit much. Plus the guide was a bit awkward and since we were the only clients on the tour there was a lot of awkward silences throughout the tour.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to clarify a few points for future travelers. This experience is operated as a private “1 Group Only” tour, as clearly stated in the tour description. As a result, guests should expect a personalized experience tailored to their own interests and pace. Regarding the food, the tour description clearly explains that the first restaurant is included, while food and drinks at subsequent stops are paid separately by guests. We have chosen this format intentionally, as every traveler has different appetites, dietary preferences, and budgets. This allows guests the flexibility to decide how much they would like to eat and drink throughout the evening rather than following a fixed menu. We understand that this style of tour may not be the right fit for everyone, but we aim to provide a flexible and customizable experience that accommodates a wide range of travelers. We also appreciate your comments regarding the guide and will continue working with our team to improve the experience we provide.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.

Food tour through Ginza
Fuma was such a great companion to tell us about lifestyle and common foods in fun places Ginzo, Japan. The restaurant choices however were not that exciting. They also only cover the first restaurant out of the three.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us.
We’re happy to hear that Fuma was a great companion and that you enjoyed learning about local lifestyle and everyday foods in Ginza. We’re glad his guidance helped make the tour fun and informative.
Regarding the restaurant choices and food costs, thank you for your honest feedback. For this tour, we arrange specific partner restaurants in advance, as reservations and preparation are required to provide a smooth experience for our guests. These stops are selected to fit the tour route and timing, while also introducing different local food experiences.
As stated in the tour description, the tour fee covers the first restaurant, while the second and third stops are paid separately by guests. This system allows each guest to choose what and how much they would like to eat or drink, depending on their appetite and preferences.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working with our restaurant partners to make each stop more enjoyable and memorable for future guests.

Private Ginza food tour
Atsu our guide was terrific! Charming, knowledgeable and very attentive to our wishes. He guided us to three delicious restaurants filled with locals that we would have never found on our own. We would give him 6 stars out of 5 if we could!
