1939年から1944年までサイモンズタウンのイギリス海軍の陸上施設に入隊した南アフリカで唯一の犬、グレート・デーンの興味深い有名な記念碑。一等水兵「ただの迷惑」は、階級、給与、食料、任務など、同じ階級の他の下士官と同じ特権を持つ下士官でした。一等水兵 (AB) は、南アフリカのイギリス海軍の HMS アフリカンデルに勤務しました。彼は 1944 年に 7 歳で亡くなり、軍の栄誉をもって埋葬されました。

Jean Marie knows his way around and has a wonderful lovable way of imparting his excellent local knowledge. Highly recommended! Great guide, perfect route, fantastic views – the private tour is ideal for experiencing Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope in one day. We had an amazing day visiting so many sights from Table Mountain to Mulzenberg. Our guide - Jean -was a wealth of information and so interested in us seeing all that there was to see - from wildlife, to rocks that sank ships.
