We had a very nice day thanks to our Guide. Very relaxing

The best single-word summary of the trip would be a "miscommunication". Only the trip organizer spoke a communicative English and knew what we had booked but we have never met him in person. People we were interacting with were operating a more or less regular services around the island (a "public" ferry captain, a Bongoyo beach supervisor, an owner of one and only snorkeling rental stand on the Bongoyo island, etc.) and they were not aware of what is or is not included into the trip we have booked and assumed we should pay extra for everything but ferry. What was making it even harder was that they couldn't communicate in English. Resolution of the problem required calling the trip organizer and letting him speak over our phone with the local island stuff. Did the work but left impression of a poor organization. When it comes to the Bongoyo island itself: - the beach is very pretty; - the marine life in the see around the beach is quite limited; swimming is nice but there are definitely better spots for snorkeling; - food was simple but tasty; - if you walk fast, the walk around the island is 40 minutes and there is not much to see really. All in all a nice place to lay on a sunbed, read a book and refresh yourself with a swim from time to time but the main attraction is a scenic beach.

Our trip to Bongoyo Island was perfect from start to finish! Everything was very well organized by Classic Wild Escapes, making the experience comfortable, pleasant, and stress-free. From the pickup, through the hike, to the moment of relaxing on the beautiful beach and enjoying a delicious lunch, everything was perfectly planned. The team was very professional, friendly, and looked after us throughout the day. Bongoyo Island is spectacular, a perfect combination of adventure, nature, and relaxation. The hike was very pleasant and, afterwards, enjoying the beach was just what we needed. Many thanks to Classic Wild Escapes for organizing such a wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly coordinated and exceeded our expectations. Totally recommended for those who want to enjoy an unforgettable day!

My second experience with at was just as amazing as the first. Everything was well organized, the team was professional and friendly, and the island was absolutely beautiful—clear waters, white sand, and pure relaxation. Another perfectly managed and memorable getaway.

We had a wonderful time with Classic Wild Escapes on our trip to Bongoyo Island. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The tour began with a smooth hotel pickup, and everything was well organized. Bongoyo Island has beautiful, clean beaches and is perfect for swimming. You can also go snorkeling, and the water is very clear. The island was not crowded at all, which made it even more relaxing. We loved the natural environment and especially enjoyed walking to the caves and visiting the shark lagoon — it was absolutely amazing. We truly had a great time and highly recommend Classic Wild Escapes!

I had an amazing experience with Classic Wild Escapes! They picked up promptly at 9am and arranged a private tour to Bongoyo and back. We hikes the whole island which was truly gorgeous and got to see some incredible tide pools. The beach is also fantastic for swimming and the fish for lunch was easily the best I have had in Tanzania! Great price and an unforgettable day.
