For anyone visiting the Guilin area, this experience of visiting the Longji terraces is absolutely unmissable (also considering the price, which is in line with what is offered). We met our driver/guide Peter in the hotel lobby, who accompanied us to the terrace area, taking our preferences into account (trekking to two of the highest views) and guiding us through explanations that were never trivial. We encountered breathtaking landscapes, did a tea tasting, and ate the typical Bamboo Chicken: Peter really accompanied us into the local community, without ever imposing himself or insisting. Wonderful day that we would do again immediately and recommend to everyone. Thank you Peter!

I found myself in odd situation of having about 12 hours available to visit Guilin (flying in and out in one day) and desperately wanted to see the rice terraces. None of the tours I could find on Tripadvisor suited my needs perfectly so I added Andy using his contact number and told him when I was arriving and departing. He responded immediately and together we made a plan that hit all the highlights! The day was efficient and flexible, Andy gave us lots of options and recommendations along the way, and he was great company for myself and my husband. The car was very comfortable and we felt safe throughout. I thought the price was also very reasonable, especially considering it was a private tour. Andy had lots of knowledge and told us about all sorts of interesting things in the area, and pointed out lots of creatures and sights we wouldn't have notices on our own.
