We did this tour with our two teenagers, and it kept everyone engaged the whole day. The kids loved riding around in the golf cart instead of being dragged around on foot, and our guide had a great way of explaining the history that even they found interesting. Seeing the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican all in one day felt effortless. Great value and a stress-free way to cover so much ground with kids in tow.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceeded All Expectations
Booked this with a group of friends and it was hands-down the best tour we did in Italy. Seeing the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican Museums all in one day sounded ambitious, but the golf cart made it completely manageable and honestly really fun. Our guide's enthusiasm made every stop memorable. Villa Borghese was a lovely surprise addition too. Worth every penny — highly recommend booking this if you're short on time in Rome!

impressive
My husband and I only had one full day in Rome, and this tour exceeded our expectations. The golf cart was such a fun way to get around — way better than walking for hours in the heat! Our guide was knowledgeable and made the Colosseum and Forum come alive with stories we wouldn't have known otherwise. The Vatican Museums left us speechless, and seeing the Sistine Chapel in person was a dream come true. Highly recommend for anyone short on time but big on wanting to see it all!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Packed Day, Great Overview
This tour covers an impressive amount of ground in just one day. The golf cart transport was a nice touch and saved us a lot of walking between sites. The Colosseum and Roman Forum were definite highlights, and the Vatican Museums were stunning. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that it did feel a little rushed at a couple of stops — but honestly, that's expected when covering this much in one day. Still a fantastic overview of Rome.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rome in a Day – Absolutely Worth It!
This tour was the perfect way to see Rome's best sights without the stress of planning or public transport. The golf cart made getting around so easy and fun, and our guide made the Colosseum and Roman Forum feel truly alive with history.
We loved every stop — the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and especially the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, which were breathtaking. Ending at St. Peter's Basilica was the perfect finish to an amazing day.
If you only have one day in Rome, this tour lets you see it all comfortably and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Disappointing tour!
The 2 stars are because of the first half of the tour. The tour of Vatican/Sistine chapel was fabulous—guide Sylvia was wonderful 5-stars! Great balance of history, pace, and quickly learning what we were interested in. The logistics of the whole event were 3-stars-meet here, walk there, tour guide here, golf cart there. Seemed like it was not planned and they were not prepared. 1-stars for the start - approached coliseum and our guide did not know which entrance - appears there was some problem with his ticket due to the unexpected closure the two previous days. The result is we were left at the entrance queue and told over what’s app - go explore and we’ll wait for you at the exit! No pointers that there was an app to try to guide us and tell us the background, no tips on do this/skip that….just we’re doing the best we can. So we tried - and saw the coliseum and spent 30 min downloading the app we found on our own and trying to figure out how to learn about what we were seeing - all things we hadn’t prepped for because we expected a fully guided tour. The tour guide Antonio was very friendly, but did not like crowds and struggled to understand us—ended every sentence with so you understand, and repeated the same information about the construction and stone at least 4 times as we walked to/from the building.
Then, we leave the coliseum expecting a golf cart “tour”—with narration about where we were, what we were seeing, history, current events - anything. And found the golf cart tour was just “transportation” to the next stop. The ad said forum and palatine hill admission and stops - we did not stop or go by either — only saw them (with little guide info) from the walk away from the colloseum.
We did enjoy seeing the circus maximums and Pantheon and the guide Antonio. did a great job of explaining to us.
Trevi and Spanish steps were crazy crowded but what was expected.
Then we were taken to the office near the Vatican to swap our guides - the golf cart tour ended there and we walked the 1/2 mile to the Vatican.
The guides and coordinators were very apologetic for the issue with the colloseum, but offered no remedy. I requested a partial refund because the guided colloseum tour was a substantial portion (and important) of the tour and they said they would do that, but I have not received any communication or refund.
I would NOT recommend this touring group (getItItaly) due to the logistical issues and the one guide that struggled—for an expensive tour we did not get our moneys worth. This “in a day” tour is challenging to put together I’m sure, and we chose it because we only had one day…trying to see the most important highlights. Unfortunately it was very diaappointing.
