Dimitris was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, helpful and great company for the day. Nothing was too much trouble and the day was planned to perfection. The excursion is great value for money due to the very personal service provided from booking righg through to being dropped back to our hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We'll be returning to Kefalonia and will definitely be taking more tours with Kefalonia Tours.

This was a comprehensive tour of Ithaca starting (in our case) from Skala on Kefalonia at 07:00. Communication with our guide Dimitris prior to pick-up was very good and then actual pick-up was on time. We caught a ferry from Sami with time to get some breakfast from a bakery before we left. The tour of Ithaca was well paced. We saw most of the island, visited many small museums and had time for a leisurely lunch at a taverna in a village. Dimitris was very knowledgeable and approachable and with a good sense of humour. The tour was tailored to what we preferred to do so, for instance, we didn't do any swimming anywhere but had more time for looking at villages etc. Overall, a great day out and well worth the cost and time.

Dimitri is very knowledgeable, flexible, and thorough. He adjusted the tour to exactly what we wanted. He has a great sense of humor as well!

Although it was a bit pricy as a solo traveler, it was worth it with Dino as my guide. Dino was very accommodating to what I would like to do around Ithaca. My initial reason to visit and book the tour is to visit places that took place in The Odyssey (it’s been awhile since I’ve read the epic so I had a refresher via Epic the Musical). But I grew to love the local, laid back atmosphere as well. Thank you again Dino for indulging with all my endless questions!

If you have heard or read about Odysseus or seen the movie, this trip is for you. The tour takes you on a journey to track Odysseus while experiencing breath taking and serene beauty of the island. Dimitris our guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole trip an enjoyable experience.

Dimitri is an extraordinary person; besides having us take a nice tour with every possible comfort in Ithaca, he also did us the favor of accompanying us to Argostoli on the last day for a visit and then taking us back to the airport. What can I say, EXCEPTIONAL⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were picked up in Fiskardo, right at our apartment, and then Dimitris helped us customize the day to our liking, with a nice balance between history, mythology, beautiful villages, awe-inspiring vistas, a couple of small museums and a quick dip in the sea. The Ithaca tour was especially memorable — Dimitris brought the history and mythology of Odysseus to life, explaining the archaeological site believed to be his palace, including the reconstruction by Italian researcher Bruno Mazzali. Fascinating and truly educational. The Kefalonia Highlights Tour was equally enjoyable. Mario timed our visit to Melissani Cave perfectly to see the lake at its most beautiful, and Drogarati Cave was spectacular too. We also loved visiting a local olive oil producer.
