We took a great day trip with Beka as our driver and guide in September, covering most of the island. Beka is a great driver, uses a very comfortable late model Toyota van for all of his guests, and is very proactive to customize the experience to our preferences. Highly recommended for any kind of tours you are looking to do in Zanzibar. A few highlights: + Beka found us one of the best spotters and boat driver teams for the dolphin safari portion – spotter put us in the right spots to swim with the dolphin when they would approach the surface out of curiosity. Dolphins swim quite fast, so even just a few seconds makes a huge difference in your experience + We made several last second changes in itinerary, e.g., skip one stop, add a lunch spot, change order, asked for additional time in the forest. Beka handled everything on the fly and made all of our changes and adjustments in real time + Beka went the extra mile at Jozani forest to get us a private tour with one of the park rangers instead of joining a larger group. This let us have more flexibility to enjoy and photograph wildlife / moving at our own pace and staying with certain groups of monkeys or birds.

Communication with my driver Beka was excellent. A long day with an early start, but well worth it to see so much in one go.

I would definitely recommend Minazi tour if you're looking for customised packages with private tours and most comfortable travel . Also the flexibility was great and could change things accordingly .

It was a half day tour which I think is way too expensive from what i paid. Supposedly the original plan is to find dolphins at Mnemba Island but was rerouted to Kazimkazi instead due to bad weather (this I cannot confirm if true) . We did find the dolphins but it wasn't as magical as my experienced in Mnemba the next day. After that I was taken to Kuza Cave where I was able to swim for a few minutes there. I had expected a more extensive background of the place but no guide to do that. There is not much to do in the place but to swim, the water was so refreshing though. Last of the itinerary was the visit to the Jozani forest, this i enjoyed because the guide was really knowledgeable and had given us a good tour of the area and we get to see the monkeys up close. Also I was expecting to at least have a few minutes in the beach considering that we didnt even go to the Rock Restaurant, which was btw part of the itinerary, since there was no booking. I was back at the hotel around 12noon. Overall the tour was ok but definitely not worth $130. I have to commend though that my driver Beka was really nice - offering me some local delicacy that his mom prepared and water for me to take back to the hotel.

Beka showed up on time and took me to 3 amazing places where i could enjoy as long as i’d like to, not rushing at any moment. He also helped me with the snorkeling photos since i did this tour on my own. Definitely recommend it!
