Shocking! We left a beautiful area on the Nile, drove for half an hour to a really rough area, loaded onto a really dodgy felucca which they managed to sail to midstream but no further. Insisted on loads of smiley pictures and talked about nothing in particular for half an hour. Sailed back. Didn't go downstream as expected, no pretty views. Same drive back. Truly dreadful!
A very pleasant felucca ride on the Nile, with Fahad, our guide who explained the geography of the region and the Nile to us, historical facts, and he answered all our questions. I made a mistake with the date when booking, but they were quick to find a solution. The trip from the hotel and the return were included in the service, which was very convenient! Anna
They cheated me. The felucca ride lasted a few minutes. For one extra person I paid an excessive price. Absolutely to be avoided.
This experience was truly terrible. This company stole my money by charging me 90 euros for three people for a tour that, as it turned out, was only 13 euros per person. They refuse to refund me the difference. I booked through GetYourGuide, which only refunded me 13 euros. Less than 20 minutes on a felucca that drifted only 100 meters from shore. Don't do it! They're truly awful.
The tour guide Mohamed was very nice and helpful and the driver Ashry was very safe and a good driver. We had a nice trip and could choose between a feluke and a motorboat as the wind was very weak for the feluke.
It's a good experience for the price, we got to pick the time of day, and an hour was enough for us especially in 40 degrees, picked up and dropped off at our hotel.
Pick up from our hotel was smooth. Good communication from the tour supplier. You are essentially towed out off the jetty, and due to lack of wind, we drifted for about 30 mins without really going anywhere. We dirfted close to the shoreline next to the four Seasons hotel, and stayed there. However, it was a nice experience being on the Nile during the sunset, and out of the traffic noise and Chaos of Cairo. However don't expect a full hour. If you want a short experience for a few photos, then go for it. But if you are looking for an actual sailing experience, look elsewhere.

Picked up a little late- although the driver kept us informed throughout of his delay. Activity provider was very friendly and gave us lots of great facts about the Nile. Also happy to take plenty of great photos for us on the boat. However, the boat trip was only 30-35 minutes when we'd booked for an hour, which was a little annoying.
Amazing view of the Cairo city centre, amidst the wonderful evening breeze. Mr Sherif, our guide, was also knowledgeable, funny and friendly. A must do when you are in Cairo!
