A different experience. The goat and cattle market was well worth the early start and we always enjoy fresh food markets. Nizwa Fort and Castle is an interesting place that feels quite authentic. We added a visit to a rose oil farm that was well worth the extra cost. We did not see any other farms at Jabal al Akhdar as the tour was designed to finish at lunch time. Does not include breakfast or lunch.

Immersive Day in Nizwa & Jebel Akhdar
An absolute MUST DO in your Oman Itinerary! Nasr our endearing and knowledgeable guide took us to the goat market early on, which was an amazing experience.
He also took the time to take us to the perfect scenic locations for photos, took very good care of us throughout the trip and showed us the new and historic parts of Nizwa.
He then took us through the scenic drive into the mountains where we had a wonderful time and were really awe-inspired by the location's natural beauty.
His local knowledge helped us to be treated to Omani Dates, Halwa, Coffee and the world-famous Omani hospitality. It was a very special highlight of our trip.

Best day around Nizwa and Jebel Akdhar
We had the best day with Said around Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar! He is an exceptional guide, very kind and funny and aknowleged with Omani history and tradition.
He also gave us many advises to take the best from Muscat.

Great insight into local life
Very interesting experience. Our guide was friendly and respectful, asked what we would like to focus on and pointed out areas of interest that we did not expect. We especially appreciate our guide, Yousef, for going out of his was to help us find items we wanted to buy that were not available at the market.

Another amazing day with Hamood! Cattle market was very entertaining and the souk was fun. Driving up the mountain was exciting and lunch was delicious!

Great tour
Overall excellent tour. Our guide Muneer was excellent, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable.
From Muscat the ride was long but the vehicle was comfortable and had good air conditioning.
The fort and market were great and the views from the mountains were stunning. We had an excellent lunch on the mountains before returning ontime to our ship in Muscat. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Experienced
We went to nizwa friday early morning to witness the traditional cattle market selling live goats and it was a wonderful experienced. Said is kind and one of our good guide we had ever had. He gave us insight about his country. Absolutely we highly Recommended this trip.

Friday cattle Market Experience
Its was a lovely experienced to witness the cattle market in nizwa. This is a traditional selling of live goats, and it's only every friday. We travelled early morning to reach nizwa on time. Thanks to our guide Said. Highly appreciated!

Witnessing the traditional friday cattle market
We went on a friday tour to witness the friday cattle market, witnessing the traditional selling of goats. Then after went to Jebel Akhdar known as the green mountain of Oman. We had a wonderful time, thanks to our excellent guide hamood. Highly recommended to everyone.
