Beyond Adventures is beyond expectations. João’s energy and love for what he does is enough reason to book this amazing adventure. What an unforgettable experience! So happy I booked this activity. Recommend everyone looking for things outside of Lisbon to do this!

We had an amazing day with Joao! He had amazing energy, was super experienced and made sure we had a safe and incredible adventure. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique experience in Portugal

This activity was one of the best experiences ever, hands down. It exceeded whatever expectations I have. João was very communicative and very accommodating. This guy just loves what he does and it shows. He got everything covered! Energy, Music, food, jokes, history, facts, fun, drinks…everything! I love the water and getting to do all the things we did: kayaking, snorkeling & coasteering, was more than what I would imagine but João does an amazing job making it all happen. The HQ was so organized and clean. Perfect place to get set up and go back to for a nice shower. I was BEYOND BEYOND BEYOND blown away by everything. Cannot recommend this enough for people to do!

João is an excellent human being. So lovely, me and my wife loved his jokes and how he goes the extra mile. He gave us literally one of the best days in our lives. It was the first time for my fiancé at the ocean and he made it so memorable. He prepared food for us, soup à la João style. We did cliff jumping, kayaking snorkelling all of it in one day and nothing fell short. We love João he does so much for and tries to gives his all. I can recommend Joao and his services. He’s an amazing human being one of my favourite Portuguese people. Thank you João for everything we love you and are so thankful for your dedication. You live your dream and we admire you for it. We would give you six stars if we could because 5 stars is far too little. My fiancé thinks of your jokes all the time. The day was unforgettable

This was the absolute highlight of my trip to Lisbon! We went kayaking, explored caves, and snorkeled along the stunning coastline before passing through parts of Arrábida Park. The day included music, snacks, great food, and plenty of dad jokes :) João was an amazing guide—knowledgeable, energetic, and friendly. He made everyone feel like they were simply spending the day with friends. If you love the outdoors and being in nature, I highly recommend this experience.

Wow!! I can't say enough about how awesome this experience is!! Joao is so much fun and knowledgeable. We kayaked, snorkeled, explored ocean caves, cliff jump, were entertained, challenged physically/mentally, and had an absolute blast! I will definitely do this again with Joao when I return to Lisbon.

Absolutely recommend! I already did this tour three years ago and had to come back again. João is such a nice and fun guide and directly creates a sense of friendship. He makes sure that you get a full day of adventure for a fair price, with all inclusive equipment, food & drinks, music and lots of activities packed into one adventurous trip. First time we were a group of 8 people, this time I was alone with João. He made sure both times that everybody feels safe, has fun and gets to experience their own unique adventure. With scenic views, good music, fun jokes and lots to discover, this is the best tour for anyone seeking a lifetime memory in Lisbon. About the tour: It starts and ends at the Beyond Adventure headquarters which you can easily reach with Uber/Bolt (25-30€ per trip from Lisbon) or with public transport: Take the Setúbal train from the city, Sete Rios station at the zoo is a good starting point and then take the bus from Penalva station. Theres a stop 4 Minutes by foot from the headquarters, each trip costs around 6€. João has all the equipment needed in different sizes (wetsuits, life vests, helmet, gloves and socks plus water shoes and also a pair of shorts to go over the wetsuit). He also provides showers, toilets and coffee at his headquarters, which is a big plus. The trip starts with a kayak ride along the coast in Arrábida national park, which is a paradise on its own. Then you proceed with cave exploring hidden in the coast line, climbing along the rocks and jumping into the water. After a quick snack pause you can go cliffjumping from different hights, a full adrenaline rush, but João makes you feel extra safe and courageous. End of the experience is snorkeling at a riff near the beach, where you can see lots of aquatic wildlife. Afterwards, there is lunch at the beach where João provides everthing needed, from towels to good food and cold wine from local or his family wineyards and grape juice slushy from his family. If you're in Lisbon and looking for a fun adventure, book this tour!

Our day with Joao was the absolute highlight of our 2 weeks in Portugal and Spain! He is the ultimate guide: funny, thoughtful, trustworthy, and so informative! The facilities and equipment are top quality; we felt totally prepared for our day of adventure on the water. From cliff jumping to exploring sea caves and snorkeling around an island, every moment of the experience was incredible. And the fabulous lunch he served on the beach was an extra special bonus! We HIGHLY recommend booking an outing with Joao when you are in Lisbon.
