The confirmed pick-up from Viator when I purchased the tour was The Tasman, my hotel. The later pick-up change is not know to me until it’s too late.

We appreciate your comments regarding the pick-up arrangements and understand your concern. When you made your booking through Viator, the booking confirmation advised that hotel pick-up details would be confirmed separately by the tour operator. It also noted that not all pick-up locations are directly at the hotel and that the exact pick-up location would be provided in a follow-up email. In accordance with this process, we sent a confirmation email approximately 30 minutes after your booking was made, providing your confirmed pick-up time and location. As part of our standard operating procedure, we also sent a reminder email the day before your tour containing the same information. While The Tasman was listed as your accommodation, the confirmed pick-up point was a nearby operational pick-up location approximately 150 metres from the hotel's front entrance. This arrangement is sometimes necessary to allow tours to operate safely and efficiently. The pick-up location and directions were clearly communicated in both emails sent prior to your tour. We would also like to thank you for your 4-star review. We are pleased to see that, despite your concerns regarding the pick-up arrangements, you appear to have otherwise enjoyed the tour experience. Great day tour. Our guide was amazing. Richmond stop was short and I would definitely go there again and spend a lot longer. Same with Port Arthur the time there was great for part of a day trip but I would go for a whole day next time. The facilities at Port Arthur is amazing, its very well presented, the grounds are beautiful and take the edge off the severe nature of the location you are visiting. Fossil Cliffs and the blow hole so beautiful. Visiting in winter the weather was actually quite good, a bit cool and a little drizzle but easily managed.
